Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good product at fair price Picked this up at Costco and applied it shortly after the snow completely melted and then again in 4 weeks. With this crabgrass formula we did not have an issue with annual POA this year and lawn greened up well with the warmer temps.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from I have used Scotts products for many years and I was always satisfied with the results, the products are very good. Its regrettable that they have gone down the shrinkflation road, what used to be a 5000sf bag is now 4000sf its the same with the larger bags. I will no longer buy their products. PJG

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Beware! Broadcast spreader settings on bag wrong!! I applied Scotts MAX Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food today using my Scott's Elite broadcast spreader and I don't think it is putting down enough product. My property is 24,000 soft. I was ready with two 14,000 bags of product, however I did not even finish one bag! I applied the product set at 3 per the package instructions, and as prescribed on the website. I can only conclude the spreader is not properly calibrated and needs to be adjusted to put down more product. When I contacted Scotts customer service they told me to apply at 3-1/2 which is contrary to the package and website settings! I basically wasted my morning and have to apply again to make up the difference.
