This Scotts Pacific Northwest Lawn Program is a four part program with a result of having your home surrounded by a thick, green lawn all-year long. From controlling weeds to feeding your lawn throughout the year, each season you'll have the product you need to turn a so-so lawn into a kick-off-your-shoes lawn the whole family can enjoy. With the Scotts Pacific Northwest Lawn Program, you can get the yard you want all year long, delivered right to your door. For use on Bermuda, Bluegrass, Centipede, Fescue, Rye, Tall Fescue, and Zoysia lawns.

How to Use

  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control when lawn is moist and tall grass has been mowed to expose low growing moss. Use a Scotts® Broadcast/Rotary Spreader set to 5 or Scotts® Drop Spreader set to 8. Walk at a steady slightly overlapping each pass for an even application. Return unused product to the original container.
  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 using a Scotts® Broadcast/Rotary Spreader set to 3 1/2 or Scotts® Drop Spreader set to 5. Apply on a calm day. Make sure that the grass is wet from dew or sprinkling before applying. Mow tall grass a day or two before application. For an even application, walk at a steady pace slightly overlapping each pass. After application, sweep product on hard surfaces back onto the lawn. Do not water lawn for the next 24 hours after application.
  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® SummerGuard® Lawn Food with Insect Control to a dry lawn using a Scotts® Broadcast/Rotary Spreader set to 3 3/4 or Scotts® Drop Spreader set to 8 1/2. Water in product after application.
  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Lawn Food using a Scotts Broadcast/Rotary Spreader set to 3 1/4 or Scotts® Drop Spreader set to 6 1/4. For an even application, walk at a steady pace slightly overlapping each pass. For fast results, lightly water in. Product does not require watering in. Return unused product to the original container.

Where Not to Use

  • Do not apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 on St. Augustinegrass, Floratam, dichondra, lippia, carpetgrass, or bentgrass.
  • Do not apply within 25 ft. of rivers, fish ponds, lakes, streams, reservoirs, marshes, estuaries, bays, or oceans.
  • Do not allow granules or dust to drift onto flowers, shrubs, fruit, or vegetable plants.
  • Do not apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Lawn Food if heavy rain is expected. Do not apply these products near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches.
  • Apply these products only to lawns, and sweep any product that lands on driveways, sidewalks, or streets back onto the lawn.

When to Apply

  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control in the winter or spring when moss is actively growing.
  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 on a calm day when rain is not expected for the next 24 hours. Apply when weeds are actively growing (daytime temperatures are between 60°F and 90°F). Oh bahiagrass and centipede grass lawns, wait until after the second mowing of the year but not before mid-March. In the fall, do not treat centipedegrass after the first October and do not treat bahiagrass after the first of November. Delay application on newly seeded, sodded, or sprigged areas until new grass has been mowed 4 times. Wait at least one month after using this product to seed, sod, or plant grass sprigs.
  • Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® SummerGuard® Lawn Food with Insect Control to the entire lawn when insect activity or damage is first observed.

How Often to Apply

  • We recommend making a total of four annual feedings to your lawn.
  • Check with your county or city government to determine if there are local regulations for fertilizer use.
  • Wait 6 to 8 weeks between applications of Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control.
  • Do not apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed and Feed3 more than 2 times per year. A minimum of 30 days between applications is required.
  • When using Scotts® Turf Builder® SummerGuard® Lawn Food with Insect Control, do not use any other weed, disease, or insect control products for at least one week after application. Make a single repeat application of this product if there are signs of renewed insect activity, but not sooner than two weeks after first application.
