Start with the unique, proprietary combination of seed and fertilizer in Scotts® Turf Builder® Rapid Grass Sun & Shade Mix®. It grows up to 2x times faster than seed alone when applied at the new lawn rate (subject to proper care)! For those areas where grass is usually difficult to grow - in full sun, dense shade, on slopes, and in high traffic areas - use Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair Sun and Shade. Scotts® EZ Seed® has a tackifier to reduce seed wash-away on sloped areas of your lawn! Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Rapid Grass Sun & Shade Mix® with a Scotts® broadcast/rotary or drop spreader and water daily for best results. Apply Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair per product label. Exceeded my expectations
It worked very well for me, I got tall, green grass in only a few weeks after application. As the matter of fact it work so well, I’m seriously contemplating using for overseeding. (Don’t forget to do the prep work and water as much as needed!.)

I reseeded a section of our backyard that had very little grass. I aerated and loosened the top inch of the soil. I also added 3 pages of Scotts topsoil. After spreading, I raked the seed into the soil and covered the area with straw (we live in the woods with rodents and birds galore). Six weeks later and the new grass is plush and thick. I've mowed it 3 times. I also used some leftover seed to repair a dozen urine spots, and it has worked well filling these in. I'm pleased with this product and will continue using it.

This works so well, it’s ridiculous.
This works so well, it’s ridiculous. I put the centipede ez patch and repair out on Friday at 5pm and it’s Tuesday and I have tiny blades of grass already popping up!! Nice job on the awesome product! I thought growing grass was gonna be a long treacherous process! PLEASANTLY SURPRISED as I only tried it cause it was on sale!

Great Product
Wow, this product is fantastic. We had a large trench near our landscaping around half the house that needed new grass, some areas were almost 6 feet wide. All the clay was turned up, so we applied a light topsoil, then EZ seed, watered as directed. It looks fabulous, it's been since May and the color has blended beautifully with our existing lawn. Very pleased.
