The Scotts® Lawn Care Plan for Small Yards (Northern) helps you handle weeds and insects and grow a thick, green lawn all year long. This four-part plan provides the nutrients needed to tackle common lawn care stressors, no matter the season. With early spring comes Scotts® Turf Builder® Halts Crabgrass Preventer with Lawn Food. This product prevents the germination of crabgrass and other grassy weeds while also fertilizing your lawn. Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed3 weed killer plus fertilizer kills over 50 listed weeds and feeds to thicken your grass. When summer hits, use Scotts® Turf Builder® SummerGuard Lawn Food with Insect Control to control ants, fleas, spiders, ticks, and other listed insects, and feed and strengthen your lawn against heat and drought. Then, in the fall, apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard Fall Lawn Food to build strong, deep roots for a better lawn next spring. These products are for use on Bermudagrass, Kentucky Bluegrass, Perennial Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Bahiagrass. Patience will yield results!!!
I relocated to Illinois from a Country Club property in California where I never did lawn work. Moved in 2019. Property was beautiful, lawn was not good, on fact awful. So I went to work with the Scotts 4 Step Program. At first I expected faster results and actually sent on a refund request per Scott’s guarantee. But this is what I know in 2023. Their products are awesome. It does not happen in one season. Every year my lawn is better. I used to walk the lawn with a weed puller and could pull hundreds of weeds. I just walked my lawn and found a few clovers. That’s it. Could not find a single broad leaf weed. Not one on an acre property. Zero. Get on the 4 Step program and be patient. Next year you will see significant progress. And each year will be just like that. You will be on the path for the best lawn in your neighborhood. On closing, I came in from not finding one weed and felt obligated to write this review because Scott’s deserves the accolades.

Green Thick Grass Awaits
I used this bundle last year vs paying for a local company to come and fertilize my yard since their prices skyrocketed. I was skeptical but was greatly surprised at just how well this plan worked on my yard. I had really thick and green grass without any sort of burnt spots. Really reduced the weeds and insects throughout the yard. I will say do NOT buy from this website, go to Amazon and find the best deals. It took me about 30 minutes, but I was able to piece together two "small" 4-piece bundles for $179.80. So I saved roughly $30 even with the Scotts 20% off code (last year it was a 30% off code). I am able to cover 10K square feet. I will say Amazon had a 25% off coupon for the Northern 3-piece lawn care plan and I found the other bag with a 20% coupon. Point of the story...search around for a deal.

Good Product- Like to see Fall Weed Control Option
Have used Scotts lawn care products for years and they have never failed to deliver. Most of my neighbors hire professional lawn services, but I DIY using Scotts and get the same or better results. The Northern Lawn Care Plan includes the traditional Fall Fertilizer; however Scotts also sells another version for the Fall that includes weed control. I wish this plan would have an option for that, as I find it very useful in my application.
