Cautions

DESCRIPTION
Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action is a 3-in-1 formula for Southern grass types that kills listed weeds, prevents and kills fire ants, and fertilizes your lawn. This product controls dandelion, dollarweed, clover, oxalis, plantain, chickweed, and henbit. It prevents and kills fire ants for up to 6 months, while also preventing armyworms, fleas, mole crickets, chinch bugs, sod webworms, and ticks. Lastly, the added fertilizer feeds and strengthens your lawn against Southern stresses like heat and drought. Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. Apply when weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 4 ¼. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 8 ½. The product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not allow people and pets to re-enter the treated area until watering-in is complete and the surface is dry. One 26.64 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action covers 8,000 sq. ft.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
- Apply to dry lawn: Make sure grass is dry prior to application.
- Fill and Set Spreader according to spreader settings on label.
- Water-in product to lawn after application. Do not water to the point of run-off.
- Clean-Up: Sweep product from hard surfaces onto the lawn.
WHEN AND WHERE TO USE
Where Not to Use
- Do not apply during winter dormancy period. Wait until after third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply to lawns or mixed lawns of Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Fine Fescue, Bentgrass, Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, or Dichondra because injury may occur.
Where to Use
- Use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Zoysiagrass, Centipedegrass, and Carpetgrass lawns only.
When to Apply
- Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing.
How Often to Apply
- A secondary application may be applied 8 weeks after the initial application, but not more than twice per year.

Dead Dollar Weed!!
Scotts Turf Builder Southern Triple Action was a life saver. My neighbors yard is filled with dollar weed which creeps into my yard.I put down one application of the weed killer and it accomplished the task of eradicating the invasive weed. I am over joyed with the fast results.

Excellent product
This product boosted the performance of my already thriving st Augustine grass by a clearly noticeable amount. It also seemed to give a wider tolerance to drought, requiring less watering. It is definitely a superior product for southern grass.

Scott’s Turf Builder
I put this down on my yard about a week ago. We are not and have not gotten much rain in central Florida this year, so I have been running my sprinklers quite a bit. My grass had not been growing much until I put this down. It’s been working great and my grass is now growing. 10/10 recommend.

Lush, Green, and Weed-Free—Finally!
I decided to give Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action a shot this spring after years of battling weeds, patchy spots, and fire ants in my yard—and I’m honestly blown away by the results.
Within just a couple of weeks, I noticed a dramatic change. My lawn greened up faster than ever before, and the bare spots started filling in. What really impressed me, though, was the weed control. I used to spend hours hand-pulling dollarweed and clover—this product stopped them in their tracks. And as someone living in the Southeast, the fire ant protection has been a game-changer. I haven’t seen a mound pop up since applying it.

The Green Green Grass of Home
I was looking for something to rid my southern law of the pesky week, ants and help it grow at the same time. I found Scott’s Triple Action turf builder. It’s easy to apply and saw results in killing the fire ants in two days! I’ve always relied on Scott’s products but now with this triple Action I’m running and playing with the family and pets again in a safe green lawn.

Terrific Lawn Product
I received a sample of Scotts turf builder. What a fast-acting product! And what results! My grass looks so much healthier and greener. A few of my neighbors have asked what I use, and I have told them. Some of them have purchased Turf Builder and like their results too. Also, it doesn't clump when being used in the spreader. I can't say that about another brand I've used in the past. I'm never going to stray from using Scotts!

Happy with Scotts Triple Action
Souther Triple Action was easy to put down with my Scotts spreader. It was not clumpy like other fertilizers I have used. Went on evenly and I watered it in right away. Whit in a few days the grass started to look better.
