Treat weeds and feed your lawn with Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 in the fall for a better lawn next spring. This weed killer plus lawn fertilizer controls over 50 listed lawn weeds, including clover, dandelion, plantain, morningglory, chicory, eveningprimrose, and purslane. In addition, it delivers the nutrients needed to help recover from damage from the summertime and build strong roots to take on harsh winter conditions. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 on a calm day when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is moist from dew or sprinkling, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 1/2. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application. This lawn care product is for use on Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Centipedegrass, Fescue, Ryegrass, and Zoysiagrass. Do not apply to St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Lippia, Carpetgrass, or Bentgrass. One 11.43 lb. bag covers 4,000 sq. ft.

Finally Have Grass Instead of Weeds
So glad I got to use Scotts Turf Builder formulated for the winter because I am noticing less clover, and weeds. It is nice to see grass in my yard. This was easy to apply and the instructions were easy to follow.

My Grass is a Thick, Beautiful Dark Green
I've been using the Scotts My Lawn app ever since my home was ravaged by an EF3 tornado. The cleanup and reconstruction really destroyed my lawn. The My Lawn app told me when to put this product down (as well as other Scott's products throughout the year) and the results have been amazing. The weeds are getting choked out and the grass is thickening and darkening. It just works really well.

Ease of application and results
I used this product last fall and as spring is arriving in my lawn is weed-free and starting to green up nicely. Based on other Scott's products I have used I expect a wonderful lawn this summer. It is not time for me to add my first application of Turf Builder for 2021.

Keeping it Green
Despite the several below freezing temperatures, our lawn is still green. Some late onset weeds persist but the lawn is mostly free of them. Hopefully this product protects until weed prevention is applied next year. As with my Turf Builder Ultra-Feed review, using this product may have me re-think my regular Scott’s Four Step routine.

Great Product for Your Lawn
The Scott Turf Builder Winterguard Fall Weed & Feed will help prepare my lawn for the spring. It can be applied at anytime during the fall to help repair any damage to my grass. To make sure the lawn food was distributed properly, I used a spreader but you can also manually spread it around your lawn. So far the lawn looks healthier than it was and the weeds are gone. I highly recommend this product.

The start of a beautiful spring lawn!
I fight weeds all year and every time you disturb the ground you have weeds, throw out seeds you have weeds. add a bag of soil you got it WEEDS. This summer in my area in NC, we had a lot of rain which is good however the birds fly and drop what they eat seeds the weeds are a never-ending battle. This fall because of the rain and the instructions I put the Scotts WinterGaurd Fall Weed & Feed, My lawn right now is a beautiful green with none of the winter weeds. I was out blowing the leaves and a man pulled up to the curb and felt he had to tell me how the lawn looks his comments were on the fullness and the color which does stand out when all the others in the block are brown-green and yellow-mud. I have to say thanks to the team that gave us this product and as always follow the instructions on the bag they do know how to make their product work best.

Easy weed and feed
I love this product. So quick and easy to use. Once the lawn was mowed I just spread it evenly over the grass, after a week or so I saw a reduction in the weeds that had been popping up and the grass is looking great.

Easy to use
I received the Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed & Feed to test out. Very easy to put down. It's been some time since we put it down and I definitely notice some weeds dying. Too early to tell how the feed part will do but am hoping that it works as well as the weed part seems to be doing.

This turf builder works great in my yard. It gets rid of all the weeds. It’s easy to use. My grass has been damaged for awhile from the sun and not maintaining the grass. I like that this gives my yard the nutrients it needs. I’m happy with it!

Perfect winter yard prep
I’ve used this for years and this always gets my yard prepped for a beautiful yard the following year. The large bag is used for multiple treatments a month apart. Highly recommended to get that beautiful yard!
