Treat weeds and feed your lawn with Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 in the fall for a better lawn next spring. This weed killer plus lawn fertilizer controls over 50 listed lawn weeds, including clover, dandelion, plantain, morningglory, chicory, eveningprimrose, and purslane. In addition, it delivers the nutrients needed to help recover from damage from the summertime and build strong roots to take on harsh winter conditions. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 on a calm day when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is moist from dew or sprinkling, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 1/2. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application. This lawn care product is for use on Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Centipedegrass, Fescue, Ryegrass, and Zoysiagrass. Do not apply to St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Lippia, Carpetgrass, or Bentgrass. One 11.43 lb. bag covers 4,000 sq. ft.

Healthy lawn finally
I'm very happy with Scott's Turf Builder Winterguard Fall Weed & Feed. My grass is so green and healthy now and I feel confident that this product is worth everything Scott's says it does. My neighbor next door commented and now he's just put an application on his lawn. Now we'll be two of the greenest lawns in the neighborhood!

Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed & Feed is easy to apply and unlike the liquids is not messy. I won't know how well it works for a few months but with the Scotts' name it's a quality product and will do a good job for me.

Easy to use!
Scotts Turf Builder WinterGuard Fall Weed & Feed is super easy to use. Excellent consistency, spreads evenly. Now have the peace of mind that my grass will not have any weeds next spring, and has the feed it needs to keep it healthy while dormant threw the winter. I can expect beautiful, lush green weed free grass next spring with no worries. I highly recommend. Thank you Scotts!

Actually works
I bought my house about five years ago, and inherited a huge weed problem--my large lawn was approximately 50% weeds, 25% crabgrass, and maybe 25% legitimate turf grass. Far too big to tackle with hand-weeding or spot-treating. My neighbors all shell out for lawn services. Those do work, I'll grant that. But I'm on a budget, and I'm a do-it-yourself person anyway. My father suggested a Weed and Feed granular product. I went with Scott's, but skeptical that it would accomplish anything against a problem of this magnitude. Applied per instructions (wet lawn, etc.) in early September. I'm frankly shocked by the outcome--weeds began browning and shriveling up within a few days. I overseeded about five weeks later, and my lawn frankly looks glorious (at least compared to what it was). I'm comfortable saying my broadleaf weed problem is eliminated. Scott's WinterGuard Fall Weed & Feed is an excellent, effective product.

Works well
I have already seen an improvement in our lawn since using this product. Already seeing less weeds. It was very easy to spread and simple directions to follow. Cannot wait till spring I know I won’t be disappointed. Looking into getting some more for a back yard.

Great Winter Fertilizer
I've used this fertilizer in the past and it always gives me a greener lawn in the spring. As an experiment I put some around my barn last winter and in the spring that area was definitely in better condition than the rest of the field. Will use every fall.

Easy application
This makes it so easy to prepare your yard for winter. We used a broadcast spreader and followed the directions on the bag to pick the appropriate setting. We walked the yard and it covered the lawn well. We haven’t had any browning of the lawn even though we’ve had frost so I definitely think it is working.

The yard is my favorite part of the house!
I can remember being and a kid and watching my dad seed and water the yard. He told me "Son your yard is your first living room, That front door is like the door to your bedroom. Shut the door and no knows your room is a mess." I take just as much pride in my yard as my living room. So it takes mantince and I have yet to find a better way to fight weeds early. You won't have half the problems come spring.

Very easy to use!
Using Scott's Turf Builder Winterguard is amazingly easy with my Scott's walk behind spreader! I find it therapeutic for myself too as a walk all over the yard and watch the material spread out in front of me. I highly recommend this for a greener lawn. This is the good stuff!

Great preparation for winter
I applied to a wet lawn with Scott’s Elite spreader. After 12 days, of which 3 were rainy, the lawn greened up nicely with no burned areas. All weeds except the stubborn red clover had died. Ready for spring!

Always the best
I always stand by Scotts products and this will not disappoint. I have used the WinterGuard for the last 15 years on my Bermuda lawn and it just works. The grass stays strong all winter long and comes back very nice in the spring.

Easy to apply
I applied about two weeks ago and are planning to apply again in late fall. Last year applied twice in the fall with great results in spring. Hope in spring 2021 results will be better because the fall 2019 applications did not have a weed control ingredient. Thanks Scotts for your great products

Great product
We just recently applied this product to our yard so it is too early to know how it will work but I am sure it will work just as magnificently as all other of your products. Forgive me for taking so long but we have been in quarantine so was not able to apply this as soon as we received it.

Easy to measure with Scott’s spreader.
Just set the number given on the bag and apply. I saw weeds dying within a few days. I would recommend. I can’t say how it will affect my yard next spring yet. I have used Scott brand before and have confidence it will do well.

Quick results
This is the first time I have used Winterguard. I was surprised how quickly the grass turned a darker shade of green. The weeds also started to die. I am sure this product will cause the grass to stand the colder temperatures of winter.

Great Product for Fall
I have finally got my yard in great shape thanks to the spring and summer Scott's products. I felt obligated to use the Scott's winterize they have my yard looking so good. It's now the middle of Nov and my yard looks healthy for this time of year. Can't wait for spring.

Too soon to tell
I delayed putting down the Wintergaurd Fall Feed and weed, because it has been so warm here in the Annapolis area, in November. I finally put this down last week, and was waiting for rain to get it to start working. The rain came yesterday, and it has not stopped yet, a day later.
I now have to wait for things to dry out and get the late falling leaves up. So in a week or so, I will update this report.

Easy to use and exactly what I needed for my yard
I used it on my wet yard and it was super easy to use. It didn't clump or stick...spread so easily. Can't wait to see the results. I know that this product is a bit more expensive than others, but it is worth it!

Good product
I've used this product many times with excellent results. I also use scotts regular fertilizer with great results. These products seem to be much better than others I have tried. The weed and feed really does a great job.
