Treat weeds and feed your lawn with Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 in the fall for a better lawn next spring. This weed killer plus lawn fertilizer controls over 50 listed lawn weeds, including clover, dandelion, plantain, morningglory, chicory, eveningprimrose, and purslane. In addition, it delivers the nutrients needed to help recover from damage from the summertime and build strong roots to take on harsh winter conditions. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® WinterGuard® Fall Weed & Feed3 on a calm day when weeds are actively growing and temperatures are consistently between 60°F and 90°F. Make sure your grass is moist from dew or sprinkling, as this helps particles adhere to weed leaves to produce the best results. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 1/2. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6. Do not water your lawn for 24 hours after application. This lawn care product is for use on Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Centipedegrass, Fescue, Ryegrass, and Zoysiagrass. Do not apply to St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Dichondra, Lippia, Carpetgrass, or Bentgrass. One 11.43 lb. bag covers 4,000 sq. ft.

This product works great!
My Brothers and friends have used Scotts' products for yrs. and their lawns are beautiful. It looks like they are treated professionally. My Brother-in-law used to work for a lawn service yrs. ago and would treat my lawn. I have since moved and he no longer works there, so I have to do it myself. This was very easy to use and I would definitely recommend this to anyone. Can't wait to see my lawn next spring. Looks better every year. Looks better than my neighbors' lawns.

Great Product
It doesn't get any easier. Get the spreader setting off the bag, set the spreader rate, drop in the fertilizer and get after it. The weeds go away and the yard stays green

Very easy to apply.
This Scott Product was extremely easy to apply with a rotary spreader. I will let you Know later if it works as good as or better than the summer product.

Brought my yard out of hibernation!
Wow. I applied this to my weed-filled, non-growing, short-grassed yard on September 1st in the morning. By the 8th, weeds were starting to disappear and my grass decided to make an appearance, finally! Two weeks later and I have a lush green lawn. I can actually tell where I have mowed now. Completely choked out all the clover and shriveled up the crabgrass. Great product; I used exactly as directed.

Great product for fall prep
I've used Scotts for years, this mix for fall works very well. I've had no bugs, no root rot and knocks out the weeds. I always water prior to application so the product sticks to the weed leaves and I'm sure that helps. In spring (Feb) I'll use the Halts mix and in April I go to Plus 2 mix, July I use the Green Max... if I have any areas that lose some color between feeding, I use the Scotts hand feeder and hit them Plus 2. Outstanding Products.

Growing Green!

Great For Fall
I use this religiously every fall on our lawn. We live in the country and with the weed seeds that seem to blow around in the fall we need all the help we can get. It seems to work extremely well helping to control weeds and the following Spring our lawn always looks great at which time I then apply the weed & feed for the summer months.

I highly recommend this fertilizer.

Awesome product
I've been using Scott's for over 35 years, and just love the winter guard. My yard is the envy of the neighbor hood. Come spring it is the first to green up. I use 4 step approach . Will not use anything but Scott's.

Gave me a beautiful yard!
Bought this product but didn't get to use it for over a year. It clumped up some but broke up and none was wasted. Began using a drop spreader but quickly realized I needed a broadcast type. Put it down in early fall and even after the snow began falling the grass was noticeably greener. In Spring there was so much less dandelions and clover! You could sure see the spots I missed! I've reclaimed some previously unaccessible land and look forward to making it match my gorgeous yard.

Best Lawn In Years

If you follow directions and apply when the grass is wet. this will knock out weeds and crabgrass plus give you a lush green lawn.

I was extremely happy with the results.

Love, Love, Love
Our home was rented for x3 years while our family was on orders to serve overseas. We returned to our home; found our lawn in a disastrous mess. Bare spots, weeds, and an overgrown mess. After applying Scotts 4-step process, using Grub X and focusing highly on the directions given with using Turf Builder WinterGuard w/Plus 2 Weed Control, WE found SUCCESS in beautifying our lawn to be voted, "Most Improved Lawn" in our community. I use Scotts Turf Builder plus 2 every year.
I use Scotts on my lawn every year and it keeps my yard looking great. I really enjoy when my neighbor across the street keeps telling me if you look down the street, my yard is greener then any yard on the block. Scotts will keep your yard greener and keeps the weeds out period.

Great, and quick, weed killer. Bahia is a weed magnet. I think the bad reviews were from people who did NOT read the label. Reading is a dying art. Goes on WET grass. Wait 24 hours. Water in. Goodbye weeds. And it fertilizes as well.

Very succesful, beautiful yard
We have recently moved to the south and your products have really been beneficial in our lawn maintaining it's great beauty!! We use Scott's Southern Bonus S with weed contol and Scott's Turf Builder with weed control. Our lawn is very dark green, no weeds, holds water well and neighbors comment on how healthy/pretty our lawn looks. Thanks for a great product!

Exceeded my Expectations
Didn't read directions on first bag and proved how great the product worked. I use a drop spreader, the bag says to line the arrow on the spreader with the wheel indentation in the law. I figured I could save some fertilizer and was easier to keep the wheel in the older wheel indentation (about 2 inch difference from directions).
Now the first part of my lawn has about a 2 inch weed stripe (from miss applying the fertilizer). Lawn was overgrown with clover, little yellow flower and an array of other weeds. Now my grass (and crabgrass) have a chance to grow without a fight.
Was very skeptical on how well it would work and can't stop talking about how well it worked. Plan to follow up with Southern blend in 5-6 weeks and just applied some ortho weed/crabgrass killer.
NOTE:
LAWN CONDITIONS: Moved 1-2/month, no sprinklers used not fertilized in over 5 years.
WEATHER CONDITIONS: Did last week in April in GA, high 60/mid 70s and 2 days of rain that week, 1st rain was 2 days after it was spread.
WATERING: DID NOT water lawn just let nature do its thing. Flowery/smaller weeds turned brown in under 10 days. Big leaf weeds are shriveling.
Only knock on Value is I purchased the smaller bags (16lbs) to start, thought 4 would do me (covers 5,000 sq ft/bag), ended up using them and 2 larger 45lbs bags (covers 15,000 sq ft/bag). I was planning on covering 20/25,000 square feet (commercial property, road side). Ran out of first 4 bags bought more bags, finished roadside and used extra on side lawn (36,000 total).

Product delivered better than expected results
Within a week of applying, was able to notice a dramatic improvement in lawn thickness and color. I am very impressed with product. I had tried it several years ago but didn't see the results I saw in the past month.

Helps fix lawn from summer and prepare for winter.
I applied this product to my lawn which suffered greatly during the drought here in the midwest. A week later and a rain or two my grass and new seed are making a comeback. My lawn will be better prepared for winter and the weeds are dying as well. Great product.

Drought
I live in Buffalo NY and we like most of the country experienced very little rainfall. My lawn was brown and crunchy. I was told by Scotts to put down the winterizer lawn food as it contained vital nutrients to get my lawn back to green. I was hesitant but did it and I am glad I did. Most of the lawn is now green again, and the rest is coming along. Thank you Scotts
