DESCRIPTION
Moss problem? Kill moss, not your lawn with Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control. This lawn care product kills moss and feeds your lawn to help fill in bare spots and thicken grass, all in an effort to make moss a problem of the past. Apply the combination moss killer and grass fertilizer during winter or spring when moss is actively growing. The product is for use on most grass types and is best applied when the lawn is moist and tall grass has been mowed to expose low growing moss. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5 for the regular rate or 5 ¾ for the heavy rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 8 for the regular rate or 8 ½ for the heavy rate. Grass blades may temporarily turn black after application; however, this condition will disappear after mowing. Always wait 6 to 8 weeks between applications. One 25 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® with Moss Control covers up to 5,000 sq. ft.

How to Use

Works Great
This product works great to kill moss in your yard. Several applications may be needed but usually see results in as little as a couple days. The grass is visually thicker within two weeks.

I have used Scotts turf builder for 4 years now and it is fabulous. My lawn is deep dark green and the moss is under control. I have tried many products over the years and Scotts is absolutely the best. Very happy.

Perfect shade fertilizer
This is the only product that works in my dense shade lot, controls moss, and I have the greenest grass. A professional lawn care service told me I would never have grass because of shade and moss! This is the result of using this product for 2 years.

Simply Amazing!
The yard was already wet from an overnight rain. I spread the product using a Scott's broadcast spreader. Light rain and mist continued the remainder of the day. Just a few hours after application, the moss was turning black. Amazing! Makes me feel like a lawn care specialist.

Unbelievable!
I ordered three bags of Scott’s moss control to start trying to deal with the severe moss problem I have after years of neglect. In part to test the product and break up what I thought would be a lot of labor. After applying the product my intentions were to allow the moss to die off, then Rake up the remains and over seed the entire area. Moss died quickly but life gets busy and didn’t get back to the project for nearly 2 weeks. During this time I noticed the grass turning a beautiful dark green color but to my surprise when I finally walked around the lawn, grass was filling in everywhere! I may still rake and seed some spots but I saved a lot of labor and seed $ with this project and being patient. The pictures I have attached are amazing! Two angles of same spot in my yard, three weeks after application and only rainfall. I didn’t rake or over seed this area at all! Thank you so much for this product scotts!

Best buy ever
This was first time I used this Scotts Turf Builder with Moss Control. I have been using it for the last 8 weeks because of the moss control. The moss is getting under control and the lawn is doing great. I have been cutting the lawn about every four days as its still very raining here in Washington State.

Works great in PNW
Applied it to the lawn as the bag reads. Cut the grass/moss short, got it wet and applied. The moss started turning brown and black in a matter of three hours. I'd say it works.
