Watering Tips
We crafted this grass food with natural nutrient sources, including feather meal and blood meal to feed grass, potassium sulfate to feed grass and strengthen roots, molasses to feed grass and soil microbes, and wheat flour to feed grass and improve soil.
Ideally, feed your grass four times a year for a healthy, green yard. Feed in early spring to help your grass wake up from its winter nap, late spring when it's doing the most growing, summer to give your lawn a boost against summer stresses, and fall to help your lawn recover from summer and prepare for winter. Four annual feedings not your style? Prioritize one spring feeding and a fall feeding. Always check with your local Cooperative Extension Agency for fertilizing restrictions and best turf management practices.
Orlando McLean Scott founded Scotts® in 1868 after serving in the Union Army. He was imaginative, innovative, entrepreneurial, and we would say he is responsible for pioneering the American lawn. O.M. Scotts & Sons™ is our way to pay homage to O.M.'s innovative spirit.
This grass food is safe for use around people and pets when used as directed. Green space is safe to re-enter immediately after application.
