Description
The grass is greener with the help of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food. This fertilizer plus iron supplement feeds your lawn and provides deep greening in just 3 days. The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in. One 16.67 lb. bag of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Helpful in summer
I live in north Texas. Great and low rainfall are always a problem. This product helped green up my grass early in the season so it could look its best Throughout the growing season. I wish we had more rainfall here so I could really see it work at its peak performance.

Great Stuff
Great stuff my yard greened up very well. The only problem I had was that it was attracting all the moisture in the air which made it difficult to drop out of my spreader.

Things looking GREENER on our side of the street
Took some time for us to get to put down with our weather conditions lately. but finally applied and it looks like we are beginning to see positive results!! Seems to be bringing the grass to more lively nature. More time will hopefully continue to do even better.

Can't go wrong
I haven't had the opportunity to use this product yet because I'm waiting the required time after using Scott's 3 in 1. However, I have used this lawn food before on my lawn in Texas and it worked just as it stated it would do my lawn turned a deep green in 3 days, I can't wait to apply it to my lawn in South Carolina.

Best Fertilizer for My Lawn
I've had best results with Green Max. I tried Scotts Turf Builder and Scotts Southern Lawn Food but was disappointed. I tried Walmart generic Expert Gardener fertilizer which greened up grass but didn't last as long or look as good as Green Max.

Unbelievable results. Thrilled Lawn care newbie!
So I’m a newbie to lawn care and had to trust this whole process with 1)Weed and feed, then 2)allowing Green Max to do its thing after a few weeks allowing the weed n feed to kill weeds first before applying. I thought the weed n feed killed my Bermuda grass but my friend said just wait a few weeks. We were blessed with several days of rain which fast tracked Green Max tremendously. I was feeling some kind of way bc everyone’s lawn was so green however many of my neighbors use Professional and expensive lawn care services. Now my lawn is the envy of my street! This stuff is the truth and I’m so pleased w- the results.

Wonderful Product

If I could give 10 stars, I would. Wasn't max green in 3 days. Took about a week which was okay by me. Not much happens overnight with most lawns and I didn't test ph before using so deep, deep green in a week met my expectations. So much lawn envy. Will buy over and over again.

Scott’s Green Max Lawn Food
Scott’s Green Max Lawn Food works but it took longer than 3 days. I aerated my grass and along with this it looked amazing. It was greener, thicker, and I felt like some of the balder spots filled in. It didn’t take a lot of maintenance on my part except I needed to mow it more often. I recommend this to all my friends and family.

Green Max Before and After
Before the Texas Freeze in 2021, my yard was not the best and after we got hit with the Freeze, I looked closely into yard maintenance. I decided to start slow with Green Max. April 2021 it was a work in progress but in 2022, the grass is definitely on its' way to a greener lawn. It's now ready for a new phase to try in a few days the Triple Action for Southern Lawns. I am very proud of my yard and i work on it almost every day with some type of activity. Thank you Green Max and Scotts.

This product has worked fine for me,
I have used Green Max for 10yrs and love it. I have read all of the reviews and can with all certainly say I have not had any problems. And will boldly say READ the instruction it tells you to sweep your sidewalk. I live in North Carolina we don't have bad winters but some of the summers are pretty bad and my lawn always concerns me in the summer. I am in my early 70s and a high water bill hurts but with proper watering I can have a beautiful lawn. In my very humble area, I do have a lawn that all that passes will comment on favorably. I am not telling anyone what or how to use but for me I have used Scotts Green Max as much as every 4wks and will use it at least every 6wks common sense tells you lawns need water, no rain you water. One person say's it didn't work in three days after re seeding it takes 7-11 days for most seeds to germinate and Green Max is not made for seeding Scotts Starter is new grass needs to be at 2 1/2" tall But read the bag,it tells you all you need to know. One other it don't have a pre-emergent in it. Use a feed and weed instead of in late spring and you will be happy.

Works beautifully!!!
Had a recent concrete addition to pati done leaving areas needing backfilled and reseeded, This didn't work in three days, but three weeks after applying it, my lawn looks amazing. It is growing fast and actually starting to grow into some bald patches. Inlaid down Scotts top soil, wetted, then seeded initially to get great results.

I have been using this product for 3 years. It is tremendous. My lawn is the thickest and greenest on my street. Anyone that says it doesn’t work or burns the lawn is applying it incorrectly. Great stuff!!!

Bright Green Grass
After using this on my lawn, it took a few days, but I noticed a major difference. My lawn was much more vibrant. It was very easy to spread across the lawn and water as well. We had a dry period and our lawn was suffering prior to use of this product.

Does the job

Great value!
I’ve been using this product for three years and can’t say enough about it. My neighbors constantly talk about how green and healthy my lawn is. The real benefit is to not collect your clippings and to let them break down on the lawn as it will recycle the grass and the nutrients in the clippings.

The name of this product lives up to it. The deep green that was created in my lawn was simply awesome. Each time I apply any Scotts product, I have no doubt it will perform. But this product over performed in my opinion.

Great companion to Bonus S
I have had a wonderful growing year with Scotts Green Max. My front lawn is St. Aug.. In my backyard there is a mix of centipede, bahia and bermuda ( each type dominates different areas at different time--My central Florida lawn stays growing for about 10 months a year. The spring drought in central Florida got the growing season off to a slow start. Spring rains and this product got my lawn roaring back. For the last several years, I have used Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S with fantastic results (especially weed control). However I don't like to use Bonus S around my trees and shrubs and I shouldn't use it on the bermuda grass that grows so well on the large septic mound in my yard.The rest of my lawn is . That is where Green Max comes in. This year I used Green Max to target those areas and I have been especially pleased with my lawns performance this year. Practical considerations I appreciate with this product are that it is relatively low dust, spreads evenly (using a broadcast spreader), stored product holds up well to humidity and has way less odor than any competing products I have used.
