Description
The grass is greener with the help of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food. This fertilizer plus iron supplement feeds your lawn and provides deep greening in just 3 days. The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in. One 16.67 lb. bag of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Perfectly GREEN Grass!
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this product. I have used it for years and have had terrific results. The only downside I see is that I have to mow WAY more frequently - but that's a result of a healthy, green lawn! I will say that I have Pacific Palisades Zoysia grass and one year I put it on too early. The lawn didn't green up for weeks - but this was MY mistake. You can put down as much feed or fertilizer as you want - but it won't make a difference if the temperature isn't warm enough for this type of grass.

Nice and Green
I have the greenest lawn in my neighborhood, thanks to Scotts. Because I have a smaller yard, I will have enough product to do another feeding later this year. Easy to apply with my Scott's rotary spreader.

Threw down a day prior to a soaking rain, and after 6 days I am noticing a greener lawn, along with verdant growth, definitely would recommend this product, especially to someone with a well established lawn.

This product worked as advertised!
June last year our lawn was not great. We watered and put green max on. Within 3 days we could see some differences. After 3 weeks the lawn looked better it had ever looked. Dark green during summer. We did the Fall application. Lawn looks great now in March. We Just put the Spring application. Great product!!

Tried 8 products over 4 years, THIS is the ONE!
I live in a very sunny and dry climate with minimal rain during the summer months and my soil lacks iron so have been struggling to find something that keeps the lawn fed, happy and green without application burn spots. I tried this one on a whim, my lawn has never looked better (over the last few years have done 8 other commercial and local products,and paid a local company too, all without great results) and I will let the no filter photos speak for themselves. You can see my beautiful/lush green yard in the foreground and in the background you can see my neighbors yard that isn't green, its struggling and is full of brown/dry spots. I'm impressed Scotts! If you have any other tips or recommendations for me please let me know, still fairly new to lawn care and would be happy to try out other products! Thank you!!

Best Lawn in the Neighborhood
This product gave me amazing results. After unsatisfactory results from professional lawn care companies I finally decided to takes on this task. I immediately turned to Scott’s since they are the clear industry leader in all lawn care products. The results with their fertilizers, weed control and crabgrass preventer was unprecedented!!!! The longevity and slow release component of the fertilizer not only gave great and long lasting results but the cost saving was used to enjoin other Scott’s products. I over-seeded with a variation of Tall Fescue, Shade Mix and Scott’s Northeast Mix. The seed is coated with starter fertilizer which brings great results and eliminates the need to purchase starter fertilizer. The results were PHENOMENAL!

This product works great I would recommend.
I applied this about two weeks ago after a very dry spell hit the region. My lawn was very dried out and brown. I applied and waited for a green up. After about three to four days my lawn started to show life. Then after a good rain finally came my deep green lawn came back.

Be the envy of the neighbors with Scotts Green Max
First I want to say always read the directions this product will temporarily stain concrete side walks, driveways, I have used this product Scotts Green Max now for 10yrs. and there is no substitute. Depending on your climate and need for your lawn you can use this to achieve the results you want. As for ME I have used this Green Max as much as once every 30 days and this is not recommended but for my need and my lawn at that time it worked very well. And NOTE high use of nitrogen can cause problems with some flowering trees like Dogwoods. This product has the perfect amount of IRON that will turn your lawn dark green in a short time ⌚. I have used other named brans and they either don't last or wont green as deep green as Scotts. My lawn stays green all year long and people ask me for advice on what they can do. I live in the western part of North Carolina It might rain every week or every day or not at all for a month learn to check your soil, water if need to, pray for rain and enjoy the envy of you neighbors.

I noticed over the past few years that a few of my neighbors had lawns that were deeper green than mine
I finally figured it out. Their sidewalks were stained from irrigation with well water that has higher iron content

Worked for my yellowish patches
Great product for filling in dead and dying patches of grass. I had noticed some yellowing patches in my lawn and figured I'd give this a shot. Combined with the elite spreader, it made short work of getting my lawn back to where it should be. Nice and green and healthy looking.

Green lawn - check
This product really made my lawn green. I'm not sure if it really made it more healthy or not, but it was definitely much greener than my neighbor's lawn which is well-cared for, too. If you are looking for green, give this a try. I used it as an extra treatment to my normal regimen.
