Description
The grass is greener with the help of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food. This fertilizer plus iron supplement feeds your lawn and provides deep greening in just 3 days. The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in. One 16.67 lb. bag of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Follow Up Review-wow!!!
So I wrote a review earlier and gave it 3 stars. I am doing a follow up with results. AMAZING is all I have to say. It did take my front yard a little longer than the other areas but it too has perked up nicely. This is my 1st year doing my own lawn maintenance and this was a wonderful product to start the journey. As you can see a few bare spots but tackling that today! I would definitely suggest buying the MaxGreen product. I know I will purchase again.

Easy flow; Non-Clumping, Makes a big impact
Makes a great impact on the strength of the grass. Greens up quick. Easy flow out of bag and does not clump. That means it will distribute properly in drop spreaders and waste is virtually non-existent. Easy instructions. Used on 10K sq.ft. lawn.

Green Machine!
I put this down on my lawn in early February before weed and feed. My lawn went from dormant and dreary to bright green in days. Love this product and the whole line of Scott's fertilizers. I will purchase this product multiple times per year for sure!

Great Grass
I can’t believe that my grass not only became greener in my eyes but my grass is soft and ready for the summer picnics outside with my children and awaiting my granddaughter.
It was the most easiest to do that I did it myself without the help of husband. The granulas spread perfectly and after the immediate first watering it was as if a thirsty limp plant got a taste of water. This is an assist to my home and the look of total freshness.

Nice
This has been really great for my lawn. I have a mix of different types of groundcover, and my main priority is just having green on all of my terrible clay-like dirt. This has definitely helped me in achieving that goal, I'm pretty impressed with it and would buy it again.

Does Exactly What It Is Supposed To Do
I’ve been having problems with uneven colored grass due to improper watering. I applied the lawn food to the dried areas and in exactly 3 days my lawn was the same shade! It’s very easy to apply the food with a manual spreader. It only took 15 minutes to cover the area. Now that my lawn is uniform I will do one more application on the whole lawn to make sure all areas are covered.

Easy to use!
This lawn food was easy to use. I put it in my seed spreader. It was quickly dispersing the food evenly on my lawn. It quickly started working as I noticed a thicker lawn in a couple of weeks. The grass looks great! I will be using it again.

Lawn definitely greened up quicker than normal. I did my 5000 sq. ft. lawn in about 20 minutes. easy to apply - standard settings for both broadcast and drop spreaders. Remember to sweep any product off your sidewalk or driveway.

Best green grass!
Our grass is so green it’s insane! We used this product for the first time about 3 weeks ago and we are already seeing our new grass! It was very easy to spread and cover our back and don’t yard! I’m super excited to see how the grass continue to come in and get full!

Healthier Lawn Care.
I was gifted this product and I am so happy to receive it. My lawn really needed some nutrients to keep it healthy. This product was spreaded throughout my lawn and I noticed within three days an improvement in my lawn. The fertilizer treatment in this product was exactly what my lawn needed. Greener grass quick
Half of my yard gets tons of sun and half doesn’t. This means that when it’s hot the shady half stays green, while the sunny patches try to brown. This has helped immensely in helping keep all my grass green so far. It took a few days to work but I started to see a difference in 3-4 days. I will reapply later in the summer if my yard starts to dull.

Amazing product!!
I actually applied this while ground was cold. Now that it's warmer, I can see a difference in the section of my lawn I applied it to and the section I didn't. I'm going to buy 2 more bags this week!!!

Really does work
This product really does work when use as directed. All you need is a spreader and you do the product right before you mowed your lawn. I have noticed that my lawn is the green as it has ever been after using this product. It is greener than neighbors lawn who uses a professional lawn person. I would recommend this to someone who is looking to improve the look of their lawn.

Easy to use!

First time I've used this specific product. Have always used Scott's weed and feed and with halts every year. 5 applications per year. Put Green Max on this year a few.weeks earlier than usual. Could tell after a.couple.weeks that my yard greened up faster than my neighbors. He uses a lawn service

Great product
Although we had a heavy snow cover up til a couple of weeks ago it has melted and gotten warmer. I can finally see my lawn. I applied this fertilizer with iron with my handy Scott’s spreader. It’s too early to see results but application is real simple. The 5k sf bag is just right for my lawn. I am anxious to see how this iron works to green up the turf. I like and trust Scotts for a lush green lawn and my neighbors are jealous.

This product is great

Good food
This food is amazing. As soon as I put it down, I could see a spurt of growth in the lawn. I mean quite an expanse of grass and it affected it like a life preserver to a swimmer. It's now very lush and green.

Really Greens in 3 Days
This one works as advertised! After a tough winter as we have experienced this year, it seems to take longer for my grass to green-up. After using Green Max it really was only 3 days before I could see a difference. Great product if your yard is looking "tired".

Getting the grass green
I had some spots in my yard that I've always had issues with. I started using this and my yucky spots in my yard started turning green and growing nice. Very easy to apply this lawn food and works wonders. I highly recommend.

Very easy to spread
Used near the house where the dogs go, and it seems the zoysia grass is already recovering from them . Also used in front on incline of lawn and bare spots are staring to disappear while the grass was not growing .

Great Product

Scotts Green Max Lawn Food deep greening in 3-days. So far looks like the product is doing as says on package. I like that it’s formulated to help nourish your grass, not to stain concrete and helps turn grass darker. I like how they provide “Tips” on how to properly care for your lawn along with instructions on how much you will need to cover your lawns needs. Yes make my life a little easier by purchasing the Scott’s Green Max Lawn food with Iron and have a beautiful yard!

Great Results !!!
After a snowstorm in Louisiana ! It was time to start my yard and garden. I used the Green MaxLawn Food this year to help wake up my poor yard that survived weather that never happens in 100 years. So far it has been a week, we have have quite a bit of rain and yard is waking up.and seems to be growing and greening nicely.

Hello green grass!
After having one of the worst winters in history, after just one application of Green Max, our St.Augustine grass is awake and growing like it’s summer time. We normally use Bonus S but this may become our go to year around.
