Description
The grass is greener with the help of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food. This fertilizer plus iron supplement feeds your lawn and provides deep greening in just 3 days. The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in. One 16.67 lb. bag of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Great products
I will be happy to write a review when I use this product. However I still have several inches of snow on my lawn. Livin in Northeastern Pa. I usually can’t do this until late March , or early April. I am a loyal user of Scott products and highly recommend them.

Super fast green up!!
SCOTTS Green Max does exactly what it says it does... greens up your lawn pronto to get (and keep) you at least one step ahead of the neighbors ! The rest is easy.
And the best part is no burn in and uniform greening !! The best!

Good product
This product works as advertised. Quickly greens the lawn and lasts for a while. I will continue to use this product. Keeps lawn looking nice. I may also add it goes down easily and does not harm the grass.

Why hire a lawn maintenence company?
Why hire someone to maintain your yard when the Scott's Green Max performs as well as it does. I promise you, this fertilizer works better than, or as good as, any product a lawn care company throws out. In fact, it would not surprise me, at all, if some of those companies use this. They just charge you for the time to spread it while you rave about how great the company did at making your yard so green and pretty. So, take control of your own yard's destiny without the up charge! Maybe hire yourself out the neighborhood in the process. Because your neighbors will ask what you used or who you pay to get your yard so green.

We think this is really working!
So far we are liking what this is doing for the grass! It seems that it is more lush than it was (and the rain is helping too. . . . It seems that everything we use that's Scotts is absolutely the best! We used to try other brands but have always decided that Scotts is our favorite - this REALLY does work beautifully!

Fantastic Lawn
I start to apply this to my lawn right before spring and always end up with a more beautiful green yard. It helps keep my yard one uniform green color. We have dogs and end up with grass that doesn't look very nice unless we fertilizer, hands down this leaves my lawn looking the best. Very impressed with our experience and the compliments we get.
I do use a spreader for a more uniform coverage also.

Great Results
Geographic Area: Houston Texas Suburbs
Season / conditions: Early Spring, immediately after a record breaking several day long freeze that killed almost all plants.
Grass Type: St Augustine / Bermuda
Weather: Days in mid-70’s evenings mid 60’s rain about once a week.
The grass had just seen the coldest & longest freeze we have had in decades. Understandably it was solid brown. Applied Scotts Green Max with hand spreader.
The grass was VERY quick to green-up and come to life. Very pleased!

No wait time! The use of your yard immediately!
We care about our yard appearance, I mean it's kinda your outside living room. We play in our yard, love our yard, so we feed it, and watch it grow like our kids. Scotts is the only brand we trust Green Max lawn food we use twice a year and will continue.

Really good lawn food
My family lives in hot sunny Texas where we take pride in maintaining our homes and lawns. Typically we start mowing and treating the lawn in March because we Typically have warm weather most of the year. Our HOA does require lawns to be properly maintained and this lawn food does the trick! Some seasons can be really tough on reviving the lawn such as our usually cold winter when it snowed for the first time in decades. I was VERY excited to try this product on my lawn because it needed so much after the brutal winter. After 1 use I could see an immediate change and know that this will bring my lawn back to what it was like last year. It was very easy to use and the bag has enough product for the size of my lawn. I do have a large home and need enough to cover my front, side and back yard. Scotts products always work well on our grass and our neighbors who share the side of the yard because if how close they're house is to ours also uses this product!

The GRASS is GREENER✔️
I applied on February 24 and 2.5 weeks later definitely a healthier lawn. Very pleased with Scotts Green MAX Lawn Food. Hopefully the photos will come up in order. But if not the greener grass is 2.5 weeks post application.

Beautiful results
This product dose what it says. I have a hard time keeping my grass green and this product dose magic for my yard! After applying it my grass looked healthier and greener than I could have imagined! The amount of product is also great!

Works Fast
This simple to use lawn fertilizer works great and is really fast and effective. We have a couple of acres of grass and we simply sprinkled the mixture over the bear spots and let it work it's majic. We saw visible results in a matter of days. I love that this does not hurt my sidewalks or driveway as well. My grass is now super plush a darker green color, and ready to be played on. I highly recommend this lawn food to anyone that loves a plush green lawn!

This lawn food helps feed the yard when used very lightly. I had read about the concerns and so we applied it very sparsely, maybe one fourth or fifth the suggested rate. It did really well at that level.

This really brings out the green in your lawn after using it. It helps your lawn grow if you have bare spots and it helps it look much better after it grows. This is a must have for any lawn care lover that is looking to spruce up their lawn and make it look healthier.

Great Product
Noticed deeper green in the grass about five days after application. Lawn seemed to respond well to the extra iron in the fertilizer with no burning. I followed the instructions on the bag and it worked as advertised.

It makes my yard beautiful
This stuff works pretty well, the results may vary from different locations and weather conditions. In my case, I live in Illinois, the last time I used it, it took a couple weeks and a good rain to see the bald spots to start to fill in, actually, after the 3rd. time mowing, the grass was greener and thicker.
This lawn food does a good job and is easy to use, if you want to have a beautiful yard this year, get this stuff from now.

Love this lawn food.
I love this fertilizer because it’s a two in one formula with no filler ingredients that feeds my lawn and also deepens it’s green color quick due to the iron it has in it. I also love that it doesn’t stain my driveway or sidewalks. I would recommend this product to anyone. It makes your lawn grass beautiful.

New home fresh new grass
We just moved into a new home with several acres of yard in sprinkled thus around in the yard and although it is early in the fever in our yard has already started to grow fresh new baby grass and we couldn't be more thrilled. This lawn food is great, deep greening in just 3 days. Covers 5,000 square feet. My lawn looks great. This is a 2 in 1 formula, which has the lawn food plus a iron supplement. My grass has never been this green and healthy before.

I applied this product to my zoysia lawn the week of 2/15/2021, just before a short rain. Zoysia grass in Florida browns up in the winter, within days my lawn was visibly greener. It works! This product provides visual proof it works.

Great Product

Green lush lawn
I recently spread Scott's Green Max on my front lawn, we received a nice rain the day after application. Very surprised at how quickly the yard started greening up from the brown winter grass of a colder than usual winter. Green Max, rain, and a few warm days made a big difference in the appearance of my lawn.
