Description
The grass is greener with the help of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food. This fertilizer plus iron supplement feeds your lawn and provides deep greening in just 3 days. The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in. One 16.67 lb. bag of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Beautiful Green Lawn
Did a great job of greening up the area applied, nice thick lawn now. We live on a corner, and the provided amount was only enough to do the main front lawn, but I will be buying more for the rest once I get rid of the weeds in that area

Great Product
I am sorry I am late. The review window has closed for this product, but when I received it I had just put my spring feeding on the lawn so I applied the Green Max last week. We had a nice rain after and I think the results were good. Lawn does look greener. I have added a couple of pictures.

I do recommend this product.However, the packaging was damaged when I received it. So I wasn’t able to use all of my product. For the product I did use it did as discribed my lawn was greener and fuller.

Wow..... I almost regret putting this on my lawn because my bermuda took to it like crazy. I had some of the best and deepest green bermuda on my block after putting this on. I went out of town and was in for a surprise when I got back to mow! I HIGHLY recommend this stuff. I get constant compliments on my lawn in a cookie cutter neighborhood, and I don't really work all that hard on my lawn other than the usual maintenance. This product blew me away.

Easy to use
This is a very good lawn food. It is quick to green up the lawn and make it stronger. I had not used it before this but I would use it again.It does actually green up in about three days, so it does what they say it will.

Works great!!
I actually bought and started using Green Max in fall of 2020. In the spring of 2021 my grass was the greenest grass in my subdivision. I continue to use to date 7/19/21). I love it!!

It works
I purchased this from Amazon and applied it in June 2021. Give it a few days probably about a week and you will have the greenest grass on the block. Of course it takes water and the rain in Atlanta has helped me out so much. I am telling you that I have the greenest grass in the neighborhood. Some have asked me what I use and when I tell him Scott’s they don’t believe it. This stuff works! The grass is so thick and plush!

We love this lawn food it really works. It was our first time using this lawn food and were amazed how our lawn looks now, looks so good and green. It is dual-action, 2-in-1 formula feeds and supplements with iron, feeds for deep greening in just 3 days, won't stain when used as directed, and can be applied to any grass type. For the first time in many years we have so green lawn. This bag covers up to 5,000 sq. ft. of lawn.

Great product, goes on easy, greens up fast!
The Scotts Green Max Lawn Food is the mainstay of my lawn treatment plan. I start the season with it, early to get a good green-up in my lawn. I'll use the Summer Guard and Winter Guard products for those months, and then mainly use this for the in-between. I spot treat weeds, so the Green Max Lawn Food is the perfect regular feed for my lawn. It goes on easy and greens up the lawn, fast. I highly recommend this and any of the Scotts product for a reliable fertilization for your lawn.

greener than regular fertilizer
I put a small amount of this fertilizer on to compare it to regular fertilizer using same the setting on my spreader and it definitely greens up faster and darker. It is also easy to spread and did not get clumpy like the weed and feed did.

Works Well, nice dark green results.

Works great on the lawn
I received a free product to test. The green max lawn food was just what my lawn needed to get growing and green up after a long winter. Not sure if all the rain we had in Louisiana helped as well, but that coupled with the lawn food made my lawn green up & grow.

Works quickly
My yard was trashed after two hurricanes and an ice storm. Also, the yard was full of weeds. I applied the Green Max Lawn Food and my grass took off and most of the weeds were choked out by my St. Augustine grass. And it seems like a little goes a long way.

Extreme Green
I put this down before a day of rain and within maybe 3-5 days, boom! Intense green. Greenest my yard has ever been. It’s kind of making my neighbors yards look pretty bad. I just hope the green lasts for a long period of time.

Fast Greening of Grass

Great Product
This made my grass so green it is greener than all of my neighbors.
I used this under two big oak trees that take alot out of my grass but this

This is a great product.
I did a challenge with myself and a few other neighbors to pump up our yards. Spending more time at home gives us new projects to do. I applied this in the Scotts Turf Builder buggy on April 27th. I watered thoroughly the day before and an hour before application, the day was cloudy about 82F and I cut the yard about three days before for maximum application. Look at the results today between me and my neighbor today May 5th. I am truly amazed and am letting the grass grow as I will cut it later this month as the directions state. I am very proud of my grass and happy to know that it is getting well fed. This is an awesome product and I have just received my new bag of Green Max yesterday for June's feeding. Hey Scotts! Best lawn food around!
I tried several brands of lawn food. Desperately attempting to keep a dead patch in my front lawn alive with little success. Not only does this work but it works with 1/4 of the effort of other products! I will never use anything else.

Great results
I had some dead patches going on in my yard because I had some moles attacking roots of some ornamental trees. After resolving that problem I had patches in my grass that needed to be re-grown. I use this lawn food to not only strengthen and brighten the rest of my lawn but also to help my ceilings grow in the patches. I have never had such a great lush and green lawn before. I highly recommend this to anyone who needs to thicken their grass, have a long lush beautiful green grass. My grass is no longer the brownest grass on the block. It’s not sure what they say, that the grass is always greener on the other side. Because my grass is the greenest on the block

Amazing results!
I tried this in a notoriously hard spot in our back yard. This problem spot has been there since we bought the property. In 1 week this has turned our worst growing area to a lush green jungle! This product is amazing

Amazing product
Scott’s Green Max Lawn Food helps to create a vigorous and beautiful lawn. My grass was dull and bald in patches until I used Scott’s Green Max Lawn Food. Very easy to disperse and store, I used this product myself. End results are amazing! I recommend this product to anyone who has a big yard or just needs a sprucing up. Compared to other lawn foods I find Scott’s to be effective and efficient.

This is the best you're going to find usually!
There may be one other product as good...maybe like 1% better. But you're never going to find it in stock outside of Wisconsin. Now that I've discovered Green Max, it's going to be on my bi-monthly routine!

Lawn Beautifier!

Worked well
I do not own a spreder so I put this in a container with a sprinkle lid. It was easy to distribute and I noticed the lawn greening up within a few days. It still shows a difference of where I started using this product. The treated section seems much greener and healthier.

Greener grass!
The lawn food does really make the grass immediately greener especially if you do it the night before a rain:). The lawn stayed nice and green for about a week, but after a week looked as if the nutrients wore off. Definitely recommend!
