Description
The grass is greener with the help of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food. This fertilizer plus iron supplement feeds your lawn and provides deep greening in just 3 days. The product contains 5% iron, a micronutrient that enhances the greening process for fast results. Plus, it is guaranteed not to stain concrete, driveways, or other surfaces surrounding your lawn (when used as directed). Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food can be applied to any grass type in the spring, summer, or fall. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary, use a setting of 3 ¾ for the recommended rate or 3 ¼ for the regular rate. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 7 ½ for the recommended rate or 7 for the regular rate. For fast results, lightly water in. One 16.67 lb. bag of Scotts® Green Max™ Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Its early spring for me in the midwest. I've applied the lawn food. I have no doubt Scott's Lawn Food will help it be fabulous. Once the grass gets growing a bit more I'm sure it will be great. Photos too come!

Green Lawn Fast!
The Green Max Lawn Food is great. My lawn was starting to turn brown and wasn't looking great. I applied the Green Max Lawn Food and watered, I noticed a difference in just a day or two and my lawn was looking like early spring a few days after that. Great product!

Awesome Sauce!
I was unsure if this product would work but wow am I impressed. This spring the lawn looks amazing. Better that I've ever seen it. The weeds are really few and far between too. It was easy to use ,there were no clumps and it spread smoothly.

Food For Hungry Lawns
Scotts Green Max Lawn Food is a unique, dual-action formula that feeds lawn and supplements with iron. I didn't find it difficult to spread. In fact, it was applied easily with our basic Scott's push spreader.
I like that it can be applied to any type of grass, and the fact that it is okay to re-enter lawn immediately after product is applied
Spring is my annual preferred time to fertilize since it's best applied when temperatures are between 60°F and 90°F.
I know that regular feedings help my lawn look it’s best and provide the nutrients it needs to withstand the stresses of weeds, weather and activity. After I mow, I leave the grass clippings on the lawn, because it allows grass to use water more effectively. It's important to water also. Doing it between 6 and 10AM means less water is lost to evaporation and more reaches the roots.
Scotts Green Max Lawn Food helps lawns become greener and thicker due to the fact that it contains 5.17% iron, an essential micro-nutrient, one hundred percent lawn food with no fillers. I have seen nice results in our back yard. It is much greener and the brown areas seem to be filling in due to using Scotts Green Max Lawn Food

I've tried so many grass fertilizers over the years until I finally found one several years ago, Scotts Max Lawn Food. It really does green up your grass in a few days with it's high potency Nitrogen. The best part is the grass stays green for two to three months.

Had not had a green lawn in a while. Scotts lawn food worked great. My lawn is green and lush now. Even took care of brown spots from neighbor's dog. Did not turn brown during heat of summer. Love it

Lots of green.
Freshly cut lawn.received food about 3 weeks ago. Lawn is starting to green up again nicely. Scotts products never disappoint. Now spring is coming the grass is going in greener and faster!! Use a spreader.

This is a great product, I have 10,000 sq ft. Plan on getting more.grass is the greenest around.I used beauty lawn didn’t work.so, I decided to go back to Scott’s. Can’t wait for the results. To show off my lawn

Quick Green!!

Really Easy to Use and No Wait Walk.on
With really warm weather early I applied this several days ago. I can already see the grass greening. Best of all I felt safe walking on it along with my small dog minutes after appling. Looking forward to seeing what a 2nd application will do in a couple of months.

Excellent Fertilizer
I received my Scott’s Max Green and am very pleased with it. It is a little to soon to apply in my region but I know from past performance it will be very good for my yard? I’m looking forward to it greening my Brenda grass up soon!

Easy to use

Super green!

Superb Product
This product is by far the best of the best. I’ve used on my own lawn and looks incredible. It changes your lawn to a nice deep green turf grass making it a luscious green. I’m very impressed with this product it’s very little effort and you get big results. Keep up the good works Scott’s you guys rock!!!

Did the job and made my lawn look great
The Scotts Green Max lawn food really gave my lawn the shot in the arm it needed after the tough winter months. It really greened up the lawn quickly, especially in the brown areas. I would definitely recommend this product and I will purchase it again in the future.

Green Max works awesome
I had a few dead spots in my yard from where the dogs had run through. I seeded last year , and had a little growth. Green Max went to work. The whole lawn looks great and my patch area is about gone.

Winter in Ohio
My family lives in Ohio where it's still winter. Typically we start mowing and treating the lawn in early April. Some seasons can be really tough on reviving the lawn such as our usually cold winter when it snowed a lot. I am very excited to try this product on my lawn because it needs so much after the brutal winter. It looks very easy to use and the bag has enough product for the size of my lawn. I do have a large home and need enough to cover my front, side and back yard. Scott's products always work well on our grass. Wish my neighbor across the street would do something about his dandelions!

Wonderful lawn food!
This product works as promised, long standing Scott's user here, super familiar with this particular lawn food. The secret to this deep greening food is the 5% iron which is a micronutrient so you see quick results. Its amazing how well it works, nice lush green lawn everytime.

Scotts Green Max Works As Should
Our lawn has been looking less green over the past several weeks, as COVID-19 has nothing to do with the lawn, but for sure, has interfered with my lawn care routine! A blanket-like appearance of yellowish tone was taking charge and appearing to consume my once beautiful green lawn. I realized that it was time to try something different. The plan was to first make sure the lawn was receiving adequate water while making sure that it was not being over watered. Any slight build up of thatch was to be removed with light raking. The growth rate requires cutting once per week and the clipping continued to be mulched back into the lawn, thus taking advantage of free nitrogen. With all that, it still needs something!
I applied a light dose, about half-a-dose of Scotts Green Max using my Scotts WIZ battery motorized handheld spreader and a week later, applied the second half dose. I must say, before the second dose was even applied, the lawn started to take on a much deeper green color, with the yellow blades turning green. And the week after the second dose, I knew the Scotts Green Max had worked perfectly. It’s now been another few weeks since the last application and the lawn continues to look great! This is a fantastic product, thank you Scotts!!

Used this 2 years ago it worked great . Can’t wait for the snow to melt so I can pilot it down this year Did not use it last year because Home Depot and Lowe’s ran out of their stock. I am as sure happy when I got my bag this year....

I think it's working !
I have putt his stuff down in my yard in 2 small area to see if there's a difference. And at first I though no, but now after a good rain I am seeing the difference in those areas. Greener fuller and more growth over all. I will continue to use this as instructed to see how much more improvement we can get. My yard just grow ugly brown stuff normally and idk why but this does seem to help and I'm suepr excited to watch the progress .

Green everywhere!
Love this lawn food. Very easy to use, although I would recommend watering lawn first, then fertilize and water again. The reason I did this method so the fertilizer doesn't burn the grass roots! It works pretty well
