Perfectly GREEN Grass!
I'm not sure why there are so many bad reviews on this product. I have used it for years and have had terrific results. The only downside I see is that I have to mow WAY more frequently - but that's a result of a healthy, green lawn! I will say that I have Pacific Palisades Zoysia grass and one year I put it on too early. The lawn didn't green up for weeks - but this was MY mistake. You can put down as much feed or fertilizer as you want - but it won't make a difference if the temperature isn't warm enough for this type of grass.

Product does just as it claims very well
Threw down a day prior to a soaking rain, and after 6 days I am noticing a greener lawn, along with verdant growth, definitely would recommend this product, especially to someone with a well established lawn.

Grass is lush and green

This product worked as advertised!
June last year our lawn was not great. We watered and put green max on. Within 3 days we could see some differences. After 3 weeks the lawn looked better it had ever looked. Dark green during summer. We did the Fall application. Lawn looks great now in March. We Just put the Spring application. Great product!!

Beautiful Grass!

Tried 8 products over 4 years, THIS is the ONE!
I live in a very sunny and dry climate with minimal rain during the summer months and my soil lacks iron so have been struggling to find something that keeps the lawn fed, happy and green without application burn spots. I tried this one on a whim, my lawn has never looked better (over the last few years have done 8 other commercial and local products,and paid a local company too, all without great results) and I will let the no filter photos speak for themselves. You can see my beautiful/lush green yard in the foreground and in the background you can see my neighbors yard that isn't green, its struggling and is full of brown/dry spots. I'm impressed Scotts! If you have any other tips or recommendations for me please let me know, still fairly new to lawn care and would be happy to try out other products! Thank you!!

Works great on Bermuda!
If you guys need a pop of color from your granular application, this stuff works great! I usually check during the year for the cheaper prices. Getting ready to put this stuff down during our hot temps in Texas.

This product works great I would recommend.
I applied this about two weeks ago after a very dry spell hit the region. My lawn was very dried out and brown. I applied and waited for a green up. After about three to four days my lawn started to show life. Then after a good rain finally came my deep green lawn came back.

Deep Green
I noticed over the past few years that a few of my neighbors had lawns that were deeper green than mine
I finally figured it out. Their sidewalks were stained from irrigation with well water that has higher iron content
Ive used Green Max ever since
Now they ask me how my lawn looks so great
This also aids in needing less water by driving the roots deeper and chokes off the weeds.

Great companion to Bonus S
I have had a wonderful growing year with Scotts Green Max. My front lawn is St. Aug.. In my backyard there is a mix of centipede, bahia and bermuda ( each type dominates different areas at different time--My central Florida lawn stays growing for about 10 months a year. The spring drought in central Florida got the growing season off to a slow start. Spring rains and this product got my lawn roaring back. For the last several years, I have used Scotts Turf Builder Bonus S with fantastic results (especially weed control). However I don't like to use Bonus S around my trees and shrubs and I shouldn't use it on the bermuda grass that grows so well on the large septic mound in my yard.The rest of my lawn is . That is where Green Max comes in. This year I used Green Max to target those areas and I have been especially pleased with my lawns performance this year. Practical considerations I appreciate with this product are that it is relatively low dust, spreads evenly (using a broadcast spreader), stored product holds up well to humidity and has way less odor than any competing products I have used.

This is the best you're going to find usually!
There may be one other product as good...maybe like 1% better. But you're never going to find it in stock outside of Wisconsin. Now that I've discovered Green Max, it's going to be on my bi-monthly routine!

Works great!
I had to delay applying due to heavy rains and re-sodding. Finally got a chance to apply it and it works as advertised! Beautiful green and getting greener! My neighbor is probably not too happy that mine looks so much greener than his!

Easy flow; Non-Clumping, Makes a big impact
Makes a great impact on the strength of the grass. Greens up quick. Easy flow out of bag and does not clump. That means it will distribute properly in drop spreaders and waste is virtually non-existent. Easy instructions. Used on 10K sq.ft. lawn.

Did well on my Bermuda!
I live in Northwest Florida and used the Scotts Green Max formula on my Bermuda grass. After just a few days, I saw green emerging below the brown dormant grass! I have a very small lawn and had some left in the bad, so I will definitely be using it again in the Spring!

The GRASS is GREENER✔️
I applied on February 24 and 2.5 weeks later definitely a healthier lawn. Very pleased with Scotts Green MAX Lawn Food. Hopefully the photos will come up in order. But if not the greener grass is 2.5 weeks post application.

Great Product
Noticed deeper green in the grass about five days after application. Lawn seemed to respond well to the extra iron in the fertilizer with no burning. I followed the instructions on the bag and it worked as advertised.

Green lawn
I applied this product to my zoysia lawn the week of 2/15/2021, just before a short rain. Zoysia grass in Florida browns up in the winter, within days my lawn was visibly greener. It works! This product provides visual proof it works.

Great Product
I used Scott's Green Max on my lawn about a week ago. My lawn was looking tired and dull. About 5 or 6 days after that my lawn started to look greener. It is a great start for my lawn. Using this product my lawn is going to have a great growing season. Thanks
