Didn't perform
Unfortunately, this is the first time this product didn't perform well. It's been 2 wks now with plenty of rain and watering and still the grass is struggling to turn green. I have done the same treatments for 3-5 yrs and we always have lush green grass.

Works amazing if it will broadcast!
Scotts fertilizer works great with amazing results! My reason for two stars is due to moisture content within the bag. This causing nothing to broadcast from spreader and $40 wasted for the bag of Scotts Green Max I purchased from my local big box store. I’ve never had this issue from any other fertilizer brands (cheap or expensive) that I just purchased. I like the Scotts brand because of the small size and it simply works. I started the season off with Scotts Triple Action. My yard has very few weeds and super thick I can deal with bags that have large dry clumps, however a new bag of fertilizer that won’t spread is unacceptable.

No geen up in 3 days
I put max green max 3 on my front yard, watered it in good first day and then watered by hand for a week hoping to see some extra green in the area's that were a bit brown, Have seen anything yet. The yard is still the same. I wonder if I can put anything else on now that I used this brand.

Disappointed With Scotts Green Max Lawn Food
Applied this product 2 weeks ago. Followed directions according to bag. Did not see any improvements after 3-4 days and still no improvements after 2 weeks. My lawn yard is in good shape, but I was hoping my lawn would turn greener after using this product. My yard looks the same as it did before applying this product. I have been using Scotts products for many years, but have been disappointed with this product.

Terrible Product!!!
I bought this product 3 weeks ago. I followed application instructions and watered daily. Results were terrible. My lawn didn't improve at all. Don't waste your money on this product. It is useless! Will never again buy any Scott lawn care products.

Not good at all
I would not recommend this product ,I put it on and it’s no greener. I have used turf builder products before and loved them. The money that I spent, I wish I could take the product back.

Product didn’t work as described.
Bought the product of the Amazon. I applied as instructions given in a bag, water twice a day and we also had a rain, not sure what happened but I am seeing my grasses Turing brownish rather than green.

Do not waste your money
Purchased Sunday, March 3, 2024 from Kernersville Lowes and disbursed according to the bag on Wednesday, March 6, 2024. It is now Monday, March 11, 2024, and after the rain which occurred on Thursday and Saturday, grass is well watered and still brown. Current lawn is Bermudagrass with very little weed. This product is like all other Scott's Brand products, completely ineffective to say the least. Lesson learned and will no longer waste my money on such snake oil products with flashy advertising.

Disappointing
I have always used and loved Scotts products but this one was disappointing. I made sure the Ph balance was within the range specified on this site, I aerated the lawn, I cut it so the grass wasn’t too long and since we’ve had a ton of rain the soil was wet but not too soaked. I also watered the lawn so it got adequate water. However the lawn didn’t get any greener in the week after applying Max Green. I’ll continue to use Scotts product but not this one. I submitted my receipt and bar codes for a refund.

Used on front lawn. Used Scott’s regular fertilizer on back & side yard. Front yard lots bad. The remaining areas look great. Will never buy again.

The label notes a regular rate and a recommended rate. There is no information provided on the difference between the 2 rates. The regular rate will cover 14k sq feet as indicated on the front of the bag. I used the regular rate since I needed the coverage. What does applying the recommended rate provide that the regular rate does not?

Disappointing result
The product was delivered on 2/10 and although I live in FL, it was too early to apply right away. I spread the lawn food on 3/6. Today 4/16 after 6 weeks the result is very meager. My automatic sprinklers water 3 days a week, but it may still have been too dry for the product to work properly? Based on today's result I cannot write a positive review,

Does not green in 3 days
I bought this and applied as directed using your spreader as shown in the picture.. This (Green Max - See picture) was applied 11 days ago. I made sure I followed watering directions. I could sing a long screw driver down into the soil 8 to 10 inches with no problem, so i know it was getting water to the roots. It was a wast of money. Oh well.
