Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works Every Year! I learned the hard way about grubs. I vowed never again. Late May/early June for the past several years I’ve applied GrubEx and haven’t had issues with grubs. It works consistently for me and that’s all I care about!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Gets those nasty little grubs! I had so many grubs in my flower beds in recent years that I had to try this product. It did an amazing job of getting rid of those nasty little buggers! I don’t think I saw one grub last year. We will be using this again this year. It’s a great product!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stopped skunks I first used this product 3 years ago when I noticed we had a terrible skunk problem (smell was horrible every night). We live in the city. When I heard that skunks hung around to eat grubs that are in peoples lawns, I bought your product. Skunks found elsewhere to stink and lawn has gotten better every year thanks to GrubX. Thanks for a great product! I use it in early spring and again in late summer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Yard was Mole party zone before use. Yard was overran with tunnels and mounds. I could barely cut the grass. I was told to use only the Grubex. Now they are gone. The other brands had little to no effect on the moles. But within two weeks of Grubex, no sign of moles anymore.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from EXCELLENT PRODUCT! I used this on my front and back lawn 8 years and it took care of all the grubs. Along with fertilizing and watering, my neighbors would comment how nice my lawn looked. To prove that it does work, when I was selling the house, I did not apply the GrubEx that year and by the end of the summer I could see bare spots where the grubs had killed the grass. I dug up a spot on the grass about 6 inches by 6 inches and I found 7 grubs in that one spot from not using the GrubEx that one time because I was selling house.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Worked quickly and very well I had a terrible grub worm problem. Grubs were eating the root system of the grass leaving the blades on top making it hard to tell there was a problem. But if you pulled up the grass it would come up easily and you could see a grub every five square feet or so. Killing them did not help as you cannot see the eggs that will turn into grubs. They killed literally half my lawn. I ripped up the affected grass and put the Scotts on the soil. Replanted grass seed a week later. One month later the lawn looked as good as new.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from You can't loose, with Scotts! Our local ACE HARDWARE, had a live radio broadcast with Glenn Haege. And there was a customer rep from Scotts. He spent some time with me, got me on the 4 step plan. And recommended GrubEx I've used Scotts in the past with great results, this should be no different!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great product I had this 10x10 area in the back yard where the grass was always dead looking. So I checked the Scotts website to see what the problem might be. The website told me to check for possible grub damage. So I got my square shovel and lifted a one foot square piece of sod up, and oh my god the grubs. They were eating the roots of the grass causing the lawn to look like dead grass. So I used the GrubEx the next summer, and I haven't had any grub problems, and the back yard never looked better. Thank you Scotts for a great product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from GrubEx is easy to apply using my Scott's Spreader Several years ago my back lawn was being damaged by grubs. In talking with a friend of mine, a golf course supt., he suggested that I used GrubEx to correct the problem. The key, however, is to apply the product at the right time; therefore, I try to apply GrubEx the last week in May or the first week in June, weather permitting. I've found if we have two successive rain days that is the ideal time is to apply GrubEx -- after the first rain which softens the soil and prior to the next day's rain to wash it in. GrubEx has solved the grub problem for me and I use it every year. I also like to use in the early spring season Scotts Turf Builder/ Halts Crabgrass Preventer. I've found the fertilizer kickstarts the lawn with a lush green color and the crabgrass preventer does a remarkable job preventing weed growth.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It does exactly what you want to accomplish-eliminates grub worms I have had grubs for 3 years in n a row which almost killed most of my lawn. Since I have been applying Gurbex annually for several years there is no trace of grubs. My lawn is beautiful and the best in the neighborhood.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product works I have a full sun lawn and this kind of lawn is most likely to have grubs. I apply GrubEx every spring and have zero grub damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from grub x . and the scotts 4 step fertilizer works very well on my lawn. been using it for years.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from It works effectively I've tried other brands that weren't as effective. Aside from the cost, if you want to eliminate grubs this product works quite well. We only received a sprinkling of rain during the following ten days after my application and I was concerned it wouldn't take effect. It was enough apparently since the grubs are gone (and beetles) and the crows no longer tear up my yard, either. Buy it.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The best quality and the best results Lots of years have gone by, and lots of different brands have been tried. Every single time, the one thing rang true, GrubEx is the best. It delivers every single time. Thanks to Scott (for Grubex and other lawn treatment products) I get compliments on my lawn every year. This is a "one & done" kind of product that I recommend to all my family and friends.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This was a great purchase. This was a great purchase for me. The product worked as promised, and it was much faster than expected. I have no complaints whatsoever and I would definitely recommend this product . The instructions were clear and concise. My only regret is that I did not try this product years ago.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Thi product works! I live in Northern Virginia and had a problem with Crane fly; actually pretty bad. I read about this product and started using it. Within two days, the crane flies were gone from my yard. Very easy to use and had no problem. I will use again.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This works! I had a bad problem with moles in my yard. My yard looked as though Bugs Bunny had been traveling underground throughout my yard. I had no idea what was going on. I went to my local home improvement store and they told me about this product. I used this product and my yard looks great now. This is a sweepstakes entry.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Very Effective Project My whole backyard - lawn, groundcover and individual plants - was inundated with grubs. I tried other products, but they didn't really do much. GrubEx has completely gotten rid of all the grubs in my yard! Besides having a nice looking lawn, etc., the raccoons and possums have stopped digging up my yard at night. Thank you Scotts!!!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product really does the job. I had an area in my lawn that needed new grass. The grass did not grow after trying to plant grass seed several times. Since the grubs were killing the roots, I applied this product in the fall of 2013 to kill Japanese Beetle bugs and then in the spring of 2014 to kill the white grubs. I replanted grass in the fall of 2014. This spring (2015) much of the grass has taken and I am only left with just a few touch up spots. I highly recommend this product.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Works 100% I have tried other Grub type eliminators, but this product produced the right outcome here in my Ohio, back and front yard. Last year I tried an experiment and found the entire area with GrubEx treatment, lasted longer and did a better job than the area treated with another popular brand.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Spring Time Treatment For Bugs Causing Dead Spots Of Grass Living in South Florida every year around March we get grub worms that eat away at the roots of the grass which causes damage and brown spots. Just follow the directions on the bag and two weeks the problem is gone! You have plush green grass Scotts GrugEx1 and Weed & Feed.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Excellent Product My lawn was dying out in large areas throughout my back yard. I did not know what was the problem, until we got a new dog (a terrier) that started unearthing dozens grubs whenever she went outside. I started using GrubEx last year and my entire lawn came back to green. I also use Scotts plan for regular fertilizing (4x per year). If you stick with this schedule it works (GrubEx with Weed and Feed in the spring, then Scotts Turf Builder 3 more times throughout the year... about every 3 months). This plan seems to choke out the weeds very well. I started using Scotts products primarily for weed control. I live in NC and weeds are bad in this area.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This product delivers excellent, and speedy results. I had a lot of yellow spots in the yard, one application using a broadcast spreader not only drove out the grubs, but the skunks who were digging in the yard to get the grubs, too. Excellent product which I use once a year as a preventative measure now.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The product works After switching from a lawn service to managing my own lawn, I had a problem with grubs due to lack of experience in treating my lawn. I applied Scotts Grub-X and the problem was resolved. Since then, I apply it annually and the problem has not reappeared.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Keeps the Grubs Away Have been using GrubEx for years. Had grub problems, don't anymore. This product really works well.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Package lacks important useful information As for the product, like most of Scotts products I'm very satisfied. However they dropped the ball on the packaging information. The bag doesn't state the sq footage it covers, and it did not address spreader setting. Two very important pieces of information left off the bag.
