DESCRIPTION
Tackle unwanted plants in your lawn, landscape, and more with Scotts® MossEx™ 3-in-1 Ready-Spray®. This fast-acting formula effectively controls mosses, algae, lichens, and liverworts. The product gets to work within hours, and does not stain concrete or other surfaces! Apply Scotts® MossEx™ 3-in-1 Ready-Spray® on lawns, ornamental gardens, around homes and on roofs, patios, decks, sidewalks, and more (as listed). It can be used at any time during the year; however, best results are obtained with actively growing moss in the spring or fall. To apply, simply connect the sprayer to a garden hose, turn on the water, and spray, keeping it moving for an even application. Do not use on lawns when temperature exceeds 85°F. During warmer weather apply late in the day. Application during cold weather may delay appearance of moss damage. Applying this product in calm weather or when rain is not predicted for the next 24 hours will help to ensure that wind or rain does not blow or wash product off the treatment area. One 32 fl. oz. bottle of Scotts® MossEx™ 3-in-1 Ready-Spray® treats up to 500 sq. ft.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
Shake container gently before using. Connect the sprayer to a garden hose. Turn on water. To begin spraying, point the nozzle in the direction you want to spray. Slide the thumb activation switch forward to the ON position. Apply evenly to surfaces and lawns. Thoroughly soak the target area with this solution. When applying to the exterior of boats, motor homes and automobiles after spraying, scrub surfaces and rinse with water. To STOP spraying, slide the thumb activation switch to the OFF position. Turn off the water. Relieve water pressure by sliding the thumb switch to the WATER position until the water slows to a drip. Slide the switch back to the OFF position. Disconnect the sprayer from the hose.

This is a fantastic product.
Im an experienced gardener and I love this product. Why? most iron products come infused into large amounts of Nitrogen. Boo. I fertilize my yard already. i dont need that. the Calcium doesnt burn and its not going to kill my grass if i put down too much.Im a person who tries to give my yard the entire NPK range for health over the year. I also give my yard calcium. This product greatly reduces the amount i apply every year. The health of my yard is improving with every use. Im not masking poor health with surplus nitrogen. I live in the PNW where moss is a constant issue. I love the tiny particles. they break down and get into the soil with very little water. Its necessary to put moss kill down many times per year in the Seattle area. This product is a win/win for me.

Killed Active Moss
I like products that are ready to use and require no mixing. Scotts MossEx is easy to use and it killed active moss in mossy areas. I would recommend this product without hesitation. No doubt about it, I will buy it after trying it.

Nice product
This is wonderful product! It’s very effective at dealing with moss that sometimes stubbornly grows in the yard. It’s easy to apply and use and is another fine product from Scott’s. I would recommend to anyone who needs to deal with Miss issues in their yards.

The Miracle of MossEX
My entire yard was eaten up by moss. Over a two-year period and by using MossEX, I have been able to completely rid my yard of all moss. It is lush and thick with green grass today.

Happy with the results
We had moss growing on our walkway for a long time and didn’t know how to get rid of it. So, bought this and I am very happy with the results. Moss is something you don’t mess around with. They will grow on anything and everything. And the spores will spread far and wide, into your siding, shingles, etc. They are an invasive species. Tackle it right away before it becomes a problem throughout your entire property, especially your lawn.
The picture I attached is from 2.5 days from application. First, you need to time this properly. I put this down with daytime temps were in the 50s/60s when moss is actively growing. And applied it in the morning. And the next part is very, very important for all moss control applications. Make sure there is no rain (and irrigation) for at least three days after you apply for maximum effectiveness. Because how this works is by essentially dehydrating the moss. I applied the MossEX on Friday morning, and the picture of yellow moss I posted was taken on Sunday evening. Results speak for themselves. If it gets green again, I will spray again.
For lawns, I suggest Scotts MossEX granules, but you would need two applications, initial one at heavy setting and one more at regular setting, two weeks apart. This sadly needs to be an yearly thing in early spring when grass and moss is growing - mid-April to mid-May. Again, make sure there is no rain in forecast for three days and that you apply when the moss is slightly damp in morning so the granules stick better to the moss plant.

Scott’s mossex excellent product
