- Dry fertilizer products with pesticides (such as weed or insect controls), should be used within 3 to 5 years, as the control may lose its effectiveness.
Scotts® Natural Lawn Food builds a thick, green lawn naturally! Apply it during any season and to any grass type to start your lawn towards thicker, natural grass (versus unfed grass). You'll see greener grass within 1 to 3 weeks after an application. After applying, you don't have to worry about waiting before you can use your lawn again – it is safe to walk on immediately after an application! Plus, the lawn food can be used around kids and pets and has no unpleasant odor. Scotts® Natural Lawn Food is OMRI listed. For best results, apply with a Scotts® drop or rotary spreader to actively growing turf. Apply header strips, then apply the lawn food in the longest direction of the lawn. To ensure your lawn is receiving adequate nutrients, apply this lawn fertilizer up to four times a year (see label for details). Do not apply if heavy rain is expected. Sweep any product that lands in the driveway, sidewalk, or street back onto your lawn. This 29.1 lb. bag of Scotts® Natural Lawn Food covers up to 4,000 sq. ft. of lawn.
