Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & FeedF2 kills over 25 listed lawn weeds, including dollarweed, clover, dandelion, oxalis, chickweed, henbit, and purslane. In addition, the added fertilizer thickens grass to crowd out future weeds and help prevent runoff. Scotts® Turf Builder® Bonus® S Southern Weed & FeedF2 is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass only. Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5 ¼. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 11. This product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not apply during winter dormancy period - wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader. Step by Step Instructions
How to Use
- Fill & set spreader with product, then walk at a steady pace. For broadcast/rotary spreaders, line up each pass approximately 5' from wheel track. For drop spreaders, align hopper arrow with previous wheel track.
- This product must be WATERED IMMEDIATELY after application.
When and Where to Use
Where Not to Use
- Do not apply to lawns or mixed lawns of Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Fine Fescue, Bentgrass, Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, or Dichondra because injury may occur.
- Not for use on or under trees, shrubs, bedding plants, flowers, or garden plants.
Where to Use
- This product may be used on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass.
When to Apply
- Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing.
- Do not apply during winter dormancy period. Wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply.
How Often to Apply
- If complete control is not obtained a second treatment may be applied after 8 weeks but not more than twice per year.

This product produced outstanding results.
Applied this product to original grass after having some new sod placed over a new septic drain field. One month later you cannot tell where the new sod ends and original yard begins, it all looks great.

Awesome product, I swear by it.
I started using this product 3 years ago. I love the results. I have used a few other products and was always disappointed. What pushed me to this particular Scotts product was my lawn looked horrible, weeds dead spots, discoloration of blade of grass. I switched over to your Bonus S product mid summer about 3 years ago, by the end of August my lawn looked awesome. My neighbors all tell me my lawn looks great and they ask what I did to turn it around. I tell them about your product. My lawn always has this constant dark healthy green color, and the weeds stay under control.
I will say lawn care is more than just throwing down product and watering. You have to understand the nature of your type of grass. I have zoned in my sprinkler system making sure to not use ver or under water the lawn. I pay attention to the weather, I don’t water on days that call for rain. Most people run their sprinklers with the wrong settings. Just because the front of your yard gets 5 or 10 minutes of water, doesn’t mean the other areas do. You really need to do your homework if you want the best results. I swear by your product, but that is only one part of the mystery and f a great looking lawn. Watering, the correct grass height the lawn is cut at, and understanding the nature of your type of grass, the soil it grows in, are all important. I have won yard of the month in my development.

Love Bonus S
I’ve applied Bonus S twice within the last year & it has saved my lawn. I had bare spots & weeds as the previous owner knew nothing about lawn care. Our HOA wanted us to spend thousands on St. Augustine sod to fix the lawn. Instead, I bought several bags of Bonus S along with some Ironite & applied them together. In the year since doing this, my neighbors are stopping by and telling me how great our lawn now looks. A couple hundred bucks and some patience saved us thousands.

Nothing Compares!
Love the product, however now I noticed no 50 pound bags anywhere. Same price, but 34 pounds but I guess it is what it is.
