Description
Nothing is better than lush, green grass. Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Food is a fertilizer that feeds and strengthens your grass to help protect against future problems. This fertilizer also builds strong, deep roots and improves the lawn's ability to absorb water and nutrients (vs. unfed lawn). Scotts® Turf Builder® Lawn Food can be used on any grass type. Apply the product to a wet or dry lawn. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ½. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 6 ½. For Scotts® Wizz®, use a setting of 3 ¾. If fast results are desired, lightly water the product in after application; however, watering is not required. Return unused product to original container, and sweep any product that lands on the driveway, sidewalk, or street back onto your lawn. One 12.5 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder Lawn Food covers 5,000 sq. ft.
Step by Step Instructions
Apply to wet or dry lawn. If temperatures are consistently exceeding 90°F, water immediately after application to reduce stress on your lawn. For best results, use a Scotts® spreader.

Excellent greening
This product is awesome. Used to use Scotts then switched to Turf company and lawn looked lousy crab grass everywhere. Switched back and bare spots have filled in and the lawn looks better than the golf course down the street

Turf Builder really does work!
My husband and I moved into a new home w/ Zoysia turf. It was looking a little poorly, so we went to work watering, weeding and fertilizing. We didn't want to use a commercial company so we decided on the Scotts program.
We have ferilized two times and put down the Insect control, following directions as to when and how to use. The grass has improved w/ each fertilizer treatment. The turf is getting thicker choking out weeds that dare to germinate. We are very impressed and plan on continuing w/ all of the other recommended products.

We've tried off-brands- they don't work as well as Scotts!
We moved into our home 2 years ago and inherited a lawn that had not been very well taken care of. When we first started taking care of the lawn we tried some off brands to help combat weeds and green up the yard. However, we weren't happy with the results. We decided to go ahead and try Scotts brand Turf Builder for our next treatment and we are so glad we did! The lawn(bermuda grass) responded so well and grew strong and green. The weeds began to dwindle and our lawn was beginning to look healthy. Now, after having used Scotts lawn for all of this year's treatments we have one of the best looking lawns on the block. Our grass is healthy- even during dry spells-and looks amazing! I also have the Scotts app on my phone which helps remind me when my next treatment is due! Love this and all the Scotts products!

Created green lush lawn
This product turned my dull, drab, lawn into a verdant and vibrant green. The grass thickened and became lush - like a thick plush carpet. The grass thickness helped to crowd out weed proliferation.

Scotts Turf Builder
Scotts Turf Builder is the only product that I use on my St. Augustine lawn in Florida. It keeps my lawn strong and healthy throughout the year. I have tried other products but none works as well as Scotts. Combine with Scotts weed and feed for a worry free lawn.

My grass is always Greener!

Product has amazing benefits!
I am an avid Scotts fan and follow my 'Lawn Care Program' completely, inclusive of using the Turf Builder, Weed and Feed and related products in the spring, summer and fall. Turf Builder Lawn Food makes a HUGE difference. My lawn in Virginia is thick, free of weeds, and is deep green in texture regardless of the heat. I highly recommend you use this Turf Builder Lawn Food and also make sure you rigidly follow your Lawn Care Program. You cannot lose!!!

Great right out of bag
Other brands seem to have lots of clumps "meatballs" when you pour it into your spreader,however the SCOTTS brand is much better. Still has some but not as much as others. Product works great,greens up quickly and steadily.

Product works like a charm. Used it and rescued my lawn.
Moved to a new house that had a damaged lawn due to drought and poor watering. Tried watering more, but only succeeded in growing more weeds than grass. Started looking for fertilizers, tried a few that a neighbor used but these did not work. Got online and found Scott's webpage. Use the lawn feed with a program recommended by them and within a few weeks got beautiful grass. Neighbor switched to Scott't to.

Best product on the market
Have used professional lawn services in the past but after 'downsizing' to our retirement home, I decided to perform my own lawn care. Seeded a new lawn 18 months ago and have been using Scotts products as recommended each season since. This year I was told by many visitors and neighbors that I have the best looking lawn in the area. Certainly my lawn looks better than my previous yard under the professional lawn services. Feel very successful in my efforts, but my lawn would not be this lush without Scotts products.

I love this stuff!
I had used and loved the Scotts weed and feed on my primary homes yard so when my rental house yard looked a bit anemic, I put Scotts turf builder on it. It almost instantly looked greener but after a couple of rains it started to fill in and now I have a beautiful thick green yard. Great product.

My Lawn - Best in Neighborhood !!!
I contacted the company that put the lawns in our neighborhood. I called them and asked how to make my grass green and beautiful.
I was told to use Scott's Turf Builder and I did. In a short time, my lawn was so beautiful and green, that neighbors would see me out front and pull into my driveway to ask how my lawn looked so good. It was the absolute best in the area. Other lawns were brown from winter, and mine was gorgeous green !!! I'd go to the garage and bring out my bag and show them. Then, I'd tell them how I used it, and soon, most in the neighborhood were buying Scott's Turf Builder as well. Of course, my yard still looked best of any.
