DESCRIPTION
Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action is a 3-in-1 formula for Southern grass types that kills listed weeds, prevents and kills fire ants, and fertilizes your lawn. This product controls dandelion, dollarweed, clover, oxalis, plantain, chickweed, and henbit. It prevents and kills fire ants for up to 6 months, while also preventing armyworms, fleas, mole crickets, chinch bugs, sod webworms, and ticks. Lastly, the added fertilizer feeds and strengthens your lawn against Southern stresses like heat and drought. Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action is for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. Apply when weeds are actively growing. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 4 ¼. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 8 ½. The product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not allow people and pets to re-enter the treated area until watering-in is complete and the surface is dry. One 26.64 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Southern Triple Action covers 8,000 sq. ft.
STEP BY STEP INSTRUCTIONS
How to Use
- Apply to dry lawn: Make sure grass is dry prior to application.
- Fill and Set Spreader according to spreader settings on label.
- Water-in product to lawn after application. Do not water to the point of run-off.
- Clean-Up: Sweep product from hard surfaces onto the lawn.
WHEN AND WHERE TO USE
Where Not to Use
- Do not apply during winter dormancy period. Wait until after third mowing of the season to apply. Do not apply to lawns or mixed lawns of Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Fine Fescue, Bentgrass, Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, or Dichondra because injury may occur.
Where to Use
- Use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Zoysiagrass, Centipedegrass, and Carpetgrass lawns only.
When to Apply
- Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing.
How Often to Apply
- A secondary application may be applied 8 weeks after the initial application, but not more than twice per year.

Great Product!!!
I recently tried Scotts Turf Builder Triple Action Fertilizer, and it made a noticeable difference in my lawn. The application was easy, just spreading it evenly across my yard with a broadcast spreader. Within a couple of weeks, the weeds started disappearing, and my grass looked healthier and greener. This fertilizer not only eliminated existing weeds but also prevented new ones from popping up. If you're looking for an easy way to eliminate weeds and have a greener lawn, this is the fertilizer to buy.

It works
This product works great. I have nothing bad to say about Scotts just all good. I put the product down about 2 weeks ago and I could the difference within 3 days. We just received received a good rainfall for about 2 days and has just started my grass. Within 3 days my lawn needs cutting again. I have not seen any bugs so I believe they are under control. Most of my weeds are gone except there is some sort of plant looking I am having a problem getting rid of. I believe in Scotts and give this product high marks.

Great for Florida lawns!
I have used this product many times with great success. It nourishes, protects and strengthens Florida lawns that must be able to endure our tough hot summers. Easy to apply. Highly recommended and it will continue to be part of my lawn care routine for the future.

Great Stuff!
We always go with the southern triple action as it tends to prevent most of the most common weeds we get each year and always leaves our grass with enough food to last till the next treatment. Definitely pick this one up.

I'v been using Scotts Turf Builder about four years and it does a great job keeping my centipede grass thick, green and healthy even on the hot humid days here in the south. It also helps with controlling weeds and ants.

Great all in one product for your lawn!
This Scotts Southern Triple Action has been my go-to choice for fertilizing my centipede lawn, controlling weeds AND controlling bugs. No more dragging the hose around with a sprayer with liquid fertilizer, then again with pest control... now just load the spreader and off I go! All that is required is getting some water on the product within a day or so. The grass responds quickly, as do the weeds and the pests are kept at bay for some time.
