Scotts® Promo Terms & Conditions

These Supplemental Terms govern the use of promotion codes, coupons, and any other discount method for products purchased through the Online Services. These terms are hereby incorporated into Scotts' Conditions of Use. By using any discount code or coupon through our Online Services, you acknowledge your full and complete acceptance of the Conditions of Use, Terms of Sale, and the below outlined Supplemental Terms.

Scotts Subscribe to Save Terms & Conditions:

If you purchase a subscription service, you are agreeing to be bound by the following terms:

Automatic Charges. 

Your subscription shall automatically renew and your default payment method on file will automatically be charged according to the pre-selected frequency until you cancel your subscription. For annual subscriptions, you will be notified by email at the email address provided 30-60 days from the date of renewal; for all other subscription frequencies, you will be notified 10 days prior to each charge. To avoid the next charge you must cancel or skip your subscription by the date indicated in the notice. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Scotts account. We will charge your default payment method for any and all subscriptions at the time of renewal(s). Please note, updating your default payment method will update the payment method for all current subscriptions.

Subscription Price. 

The price you will be charged for each subscription renewal will be determined by the prevailing price on this site of the subscription product at the time of each renewal minus your designated subscription discount amount. This base price excludes applicable taxes and shipping (if applicable). Pricing is subject to change up to the time of charge. Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation with the final renewal price. 

Product Availability. 

If a product is discontinued your subscription will automatically be canceled. If your product is not available at the time of renewal, you will receive a notification. We will continue to attempt to place your renewal order for up to 30 days. If we are unable to place your renewal order after 30 days, the order will be canceled. In the event your product is not available, you will be able to make changes to your subscription, including canceling, during this 30 day window or until your order is placed.

Returns/Refunds. 

In order to avoid the next charge, you must cancel or skip your subscription by the date provided in the notice. Once charged, we cannot refund your payment or cancel your shipment. Please note that any applicable product guarantees or warranties will continue to apply to products purchased under subscription. 

Scotts Holiday Bundle Promotion

Scotts Free Spreader offer valid on purchases made only on scotts.com through December 18, 2024 at 11:59 PM PST on select products. Offer valid only on pre-built four bag lawn fertilizer [Scotts Turf Builder 4 Bag Bundle (For Northern Lawns), Scotts Florida Lawn 4 Bag Bundle, & Scotts Turf Builder 4 Bag Bundle (For Southern Lawns)]. Free Scotts Turf Builder EdgeGuard Mini Broadcast Spreader must be added to cart before checkout. Offer cannot be combined with any other discount, coupon, sale, promotion or any other offer. Sweepstakes Official Rules (“Official Rules”)

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER OR WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT IMPROVE AN INDIVIDUAL’S CHANCES OF WINNING. 

1. Eligibility: Scotts ‘Spreading Holiday Cheer’ Giveaway Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”) is open to legal U.S. residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia (“U.S.”), who are at least eighteen (18) years of age or older (19 in Alabama and Nebraska; 21 in Mississippi) at the time of entry. The contest is governed by U.S. law and is subject to all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations. Officers and directors of Sponsor and its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising or promotion agencies, and such employee’s immediate family members and/or those living in the same household are not eligible to participate. Void where prohibited. Winning a prize is contingent upon fulfilling all requirements set forth herein. 

2. Timing: The Sweepstakes begins on Friday 12/13/24 at 8:00 a.m Eastern Standard Time (“EST”) and ends on Sunday 12/15/24 at 11:59:59 p.m. EST (the “Sweepstakes Period”) 

3. How to Enter: During the Sweepstakes Period,

2. Like this/the Sweepstakes post on Instagram
3. Tell us your favorite holiday memory and tag two friends
4. Share to your Instagram story for an extra submission

Completing steps 1 -3 above will earn you one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes. Limit two (2) entries per person.

4. Winner Selection/Prizes/ Odds :

One (1) Grand Prize Winners (“Prize Winner”) will be chosen in a random drawing from among all eligible entries received on 12/16/24 and will receive one (1) Scotts 4 bag bundle with an Approximate Retail Value of one hundred and fifty US dollars ($150.00), one (1) Scotts Elite spread with an Approximate Retail Value of one hundred and fifty US dollars ($150.00) and one (1) Scotts holiday inflatable with an approximate Retail value of two thousand US dollars ($2000.00). Total ARV for the Sweepstakes is two thousand, three hundred US dollars ($2300.00). Random drawing will be conducted by Sponsor whose decisions shall be final and binding. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible Entries received. Winner is responsible for any and all local, state and/or federal taxes as well as any other costs and expenses not specified herein as being awarded. Prize is nonassignable and non-transferable and has no cash value. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to substitute a prize of comparable value if any prize listed is unavailable. 1 Prize per winner. 

5. Winner Notification: Potential Prize Winner will be notified via Instagram private message. Winner has 5 consecutive days to respond to notification to claim prize, non response within those 5 days will disqualify the prospective winner, and a alternative Prize winner will be selected. Prize Winner may be required to sign and return an Affidavit or Eligibility/Release of Liability, and where legally permissible a Publicity Release. Failure by Prize Winner to return any required documentation prior to the deadline date may result in disqualification and the prize may be awarded to an alternate winner. If any potential Prize Winner is found to be ineligible, or if he or she has not complied with these Official Rules or declines a prize for any reason prior to award,and/or if a prize notice is returned as undeliverable, such potential Prize Winner will be disqualified and an alternate Prize Winner may be selected. 

6. Publicity Release: Except where prohibited, participation in the Sweepstakes constitutes each entrant’s consent to Sponsor’s use of entrant’s name, likeness, photograph, voice, opinions and/or hometown and state for promotional purposes in any media, worldwide, in perpetuity, without further payment or consideration, and entrant releases the Sponsor from all claims arising out of the use of such information. 

7. General Conditions: Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, suspend and/or modify the Sweepstakes, or any part of it, if any fraud, technical failures, human error or any other factor impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the Sweepstakes, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right in its sole discretion to disqualify any individual it finds to be tampering with the registration process or the operation of the Sweepstakes or to be acting in violation of these Official Rules or any other promotion or in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner. Any attempt by any person to deliberately undermine the legitimate operation of the Sweepstakes may be a violation of criminal and civil law, and, should such an attempt be made, Sponsor reserves the right to seek damages from any such person to the fullest extent permitted by law. Any information you provide in connection with the Sweepstakes may be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy. Entry into the Sweepstakes constitutes acceptance of these Official Rules and Sponsor’s Privacy Policy, which can be found here https://scottsmiraclegro.com/privacy/. This promotion is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Instagram.

Entrant hereby releases Sponsor and Instagram from any and all claims, liabilities, costs and expenses, which may be caused, directly or indirectly, in whole or in part, from entrant’s participation in the Sweepstakes and/or receipt or use or misuse of any prize. The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify, or suspend this Sweepstakes at any time.

8. Disputes. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, or the rights and obligations of the entrant and Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the State of Ohio, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules (whether of State of Ohio or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than the State of Ohio. 

9. Winners List: To obtain the name of the Winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Scotts Lawns Sweepstakes, 14111 Co Hwy 105, Marysville, OH 43040. All such requests must be received by December 31, 2024.
