Description
Kill even the toughest of weeds with Scotts® Weed Control for Lawns. This granular weed killer for lawns controls over 200 listed weed types, including dandelion, clover, dollarweed, chickweed, poison ivy, henbit, oxalis, ground ivy, and purslane. The product starts working on contact and kills the root. Apply Scotts® Weed Control for Lawns in the spring or early fall when broadleaf weeds are actively growing, preferably in the morning when dew is on the grass. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 3 ¾. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 5 ¾. Avoid washing product from weed leaves for 1 to 2 days after application. At this time, a thorough watering should be made. Do not use on Dichondra, Carpetgrass, 'Floratam' St. Augustinegrass, Creeping Bentgrass, or turfgrass where desirable clovers are present. One 14 lb. bag of Scotts® Weed Control for Lawns covers 5,000 sq. ft.

Where Not to Use
- Do not use on Floratam St. Augustine, dichondra, carpetgrass, or bentgrass. Do not apply near waterways.

- Apply when weeds are actively growing

- No more than twice a year

Watering Tips
- Water thoroughly 1-2 days before application. Do not water for 2 days after application

Works well! Used every season!
I just bought eight more bags of this product. Have you used it every year for the last 3 years so this will be your number four.
It absolutely annihilates the creeping buttercup and does a good job on the dandelions!
I follow the instructions to the "t" and it always turns out well.
It's unfortunate to see that others have not had the same result.
I AM expecting to see some dandelions appear after the treatment this year because just two days ago many dandelions went to seed in the yard and it will be some time before they show up as seed bearing plants. Nothing I can do about that now.
After they appear I will treat individually or do another spot treatment with the weed control

Weed Killer !! Yea!
I have been using Scott’s weed control for 4 bags now. Weeds are gone and grass looks great except for crabgrass. Plan to use the Scott’s crabgrass killer next. Great product when used correctly.

This product is the best for creeping buttercup!
I've been using this for 3 years. Specifically to eradicate creeping buttercup which has taken over my lawn. When following the instructions this product absolutely works!
Last year I did not treat the lawn nor did I water enough during a drought and the buttercup was back with a vengeance.
One application of this product has brought my lawn back again. It will now be part of my annual lawn Care for as long as I live in this home. It doesn't do as well with some of the other types of weeds but for creeping buttercup this is by far the best and only thing that I found that works well!

Ease of use
Read directions FIRST! Follow directions because not all spreaders work the same. Once you obtain the correct spreader follow what the directions say, you don't want to under or over apply. Works well, especially getting to the root of the problem weed.

Kills weeds in one application
I've used Scotts for years and have always had good results. Neighbors have asked me what I'm doing for such a nice lawn. I tell them to follow the directions on the package, keep up with your applications and prey for rain and you will have great results.

Awesome Product
I've tried a few weed control products and Scotts Weed worked great. I get many dandelions as my neighbor does nothing to get rid of his. I applied early this season and have seen none yet. I love a product that works!!

my first use of this produce. I did not believe it, No weeds anywhere, in 5,000 feet of grass in front & back...yard....unbelievable no weeds anywhere with weeds on neighbors ,on both sides.....
