Precautions
- This product could cause staining on cement, stone, or metallic surfaces, clothing, and shoes. To avoid stains, sweep particles off hard surfaces and back into the treated area. Brush off shoes and clothing. If necessary, use water to rinse the particles away.
Disposal Methods
- If empty: Place in trash or offer for recycling if available.
- If partly filled: Call your local solid waste agency for disposal instructions. Never place unused product down any indoor or outdoor drain.
- Storage: Store in a dry place. Reseal opened bag by folding top down and securing.

Rain, snow, or freezing weather won't affect the product performance, so you don't have to worry about the elements after you've applied. Apply easily with a Scotts® broadcast, drop, hand-held or Wizz® spreader to all lawn and grass types (except dichondra or bentgrass).
Step by Step Instructions
How to Use
- Check bag for spreader setting
- When using a Scotts® broadcast or Wizz® spreader, make a perimeter pass of your lawn with EdgeGuard® on to protect non-lawn areas. Then, make parallel internal passes 5 ft. apart to ensure even coverage.
- When using a Scotts drop spreader, start 5 feet from the edge of your lawn and walk the outline of your lawn. Then, make internal passes across your lawn, overlapping the wheel marks to ensure uniform coverage.

Special Instructions
Watering Tips
- It is not necessary to water in immediately. For best results, lightly water the lawn to rinse particles from grass blades (up to ¼ to ½ inch) within 2-3 days after application.
