Kill the toughest Southern weeds with Scotts® WeedEx™ Southern. This lawn weed killer has the strength to kill tough weeds like dollarweed and clover all season long. It controls over 25 listed weeds, including dollarweed, clover, dandelion, chickweed, and oxalis. Scotts® WeedEx™ Southern is only for use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass. Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing. Use in the fall to control winter weeds such as henbit, rabbit-tobacco, and eveningprimrose. We recommend using a Scotts® spreader to apply this product. For Scotts® broadcast/rotary spreaders, use a setting of 5. For Scotts® drop spreaders, use a setting of 11 ½. This product must be watered in immediately after application. Do not apply during winter dormancy period - wait until after the third mowing of the season. Do not apply with a hand-held spreader. One 12.5 lb. bag of Scotts® WeedEx™ Southern covers 4,000 sq. ft.

How to Use

• Fill & set spreader with product, then walk at a steady pace. For broadcast/rotary spreaders, line up each pass approximately 5' from wheel track. For drop spreaders, align arrow with previous wheel track.
• This product must be WATERED IN IMMEDIATELY after application.

Where Not to Use

• Do not apply to lawns or mixed lawns of Bahiagrass, Bermudagrass, Bluegrass, Fine Fescue, Bentgrass, Ryegrass, Tall Fescue, or Dichondra.
• Not for use on or under trees, shrubs, bedding plants, flowers, or garden plants.

Where to Use

• For use on St. Augustinegrass (including Floratam), Centipedegrass, Zoysiagrass, and Carpetgrass only.

When to Apply

• Apply when grass and weeds are actively growing.
• Wait until after the third mowing of the season to apply.
• Can be applied in the fall to control winter weeds such as henbit, chickweed, rabbit-tobacco, and evening primrose.
• Do not apply during winter dormancy period.
• Do not apply to newly seeded Centipede or Carpetgrass lawns until after the new grass has been mowed at least twice.

How Often to Apply

• If complete control is not obtained a second treatment may be required 2 month after the first. Do not make more than 2 applications per year.
