Description
Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Centipede Grass Seed & Mulch combines mulch and seed to grow a thick, low maintenance lawn. Centipede grass establishes well in sandy, acidic soils, and thrives in sunny areas that receive light shade. It has a medium bladed texture and provides medium drought resistance. Apply Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Centipede Grass Seed & Mulch in the late spring or early summer when air temperatures are between 70°F and 90°F and all danger of frost has passed. For best results, water daily or as often as needed to keep the soil surface moist. We recommend using an automatic timer to ensure no essential waterings are missed. Seedlings will start to germinate in about 2-3 weeks. One 5 lb. bag of Scotts® Turf Builder® Grass Seed Centipede Grass Seed & Mulch covers up to 2,000 sq. ft. for existing lawns, and 665 sq. ft. for new lawns.
