DESCRIPTION
Strong soil is the foundation for a great lawn. Use Scotts Foundation Soil Improver to help strengthen and improve your soil to give your lawn a solid base. Scotts Soil Foundation Soil Improver contains natural ingredients that can help reduce soil compaction, boost water and retention, as well as support improved soil quality. Okay to use with all grass and soil types--in lawns and gardens. Apply with a Scotts broadcast, rotary, drop or Wizz spreader. Apply in the spring to prepare for the growing season or in the fall for overseeding or aeration.

How to Use
- Know Your Lawn Size
- Fill & Set Spreader
- Apply
Walk at a Steady Pace
Broadcast / Rotary Spreader - Each pass should be within 5 ft. of each other to ensure an overlap.
Drop Spreader - Align hopper arrow with previous wheel track.
WHEN AND WHERE TO USE
Where Not to Use
- Do not apply near water, storm drains, or drainage ditches. Do not apply if heavy rain is expected.
Where to Use
- Works on established and newly seeded lawns. Use on all grass types and gardens.
When to Apply
- Apply in the spring to prepare for the growing season or in the fall for overseeding or aeration.
How Often to Apply
- To improve the soil ahead of the growing season, apply Scotts Foundation Soil Improver in the Spring. To improve soil conditions for overseeding and aeration, apply in the fall.

Love it
I stumbled on this product several years ago and am very thankful I did. We had a section of yard that nothing but weeds would grow on rarely any grass, we used to to call it the desert. After applying foundation the first time we started we see our grass finally grow now after using foundation every year that section is all grass and extremely thick so we will continue to use this product every year

Worth every penny
Great for the whole area around my house. Did the job and easy to apply too! I would highly recommend this product! Shared some with my son for his yard and he ran right out to pick up another container. Very happy!

Improvement seen
Our backyard was with this product and the grass definitely came in stronger and thicker. Best growth we have ever seen and glad we tried this application. Would certainly try this again in a year's time.

Recommend this product!
We applied this product in early fall. We over-seeded later in the fall and really saw better results than previous over-seeding with the same seed brand. We are now in late February and with only a few warm, sunny days, we are seeing our lawn getting green much earlier than usual. We will be using this again early this spring.

Helped my soil
I had some areas in my yard that just wouldn't grow grass well at all. I think it was partly some sort of fungus. Anyway, I toiled the soil all up, applied this, then reseeded and it finally started growing!

good amendments to soil
added this to an area that has been having trouble growing grass. Have not seen any improvement probably because I did not have enough. Trying again this spring while adding more grass seed. Note that this area does not even grow weeds.
