This color enhanced mulch never uses recycled waste wood, only natural forest products. Build a better landscape that you know will look great and be free of any construction debris and pallet wood. Do you have to remove old mulch before applying new mulch?
In many cases, you do not need to remove old mulch as it will naturally decompose into the soil. You may want to remove old mulch if the layer is too thick (more than 4 inches). If you choose not to remove old mulch, remember to loosen up your old mulch to improve drainage and airflow before applying a new layer.
How often should you mulch your yard?
Generally, you should add fresh mulch to your landscape or garden once a year.
Will mold in my mulch bag harm plants?
