This mulch is for use around trees, shrubs, flowers, or vegetables. For longest lasting color, keep mulch dry for at least 24 hours after application. When applied at the recommended 2 inch rate, 3 bags of Scotts® Nature Scapes® Triple Shred Black Mulch cover 24 sq. ft., 6 bags cover 48 sq. ft., 8 bags cover 72 sq. ft., and 14 bags cover 120 sq. ft.
