How to Use

To Apply Grass Seed:

1. PREP: For a new lawn, rake area to loosen the top layer of soil (approximately 2 inches deep) and remove any dead grass or debris, ensuring seed-to-soil contact. To overseed, mow the lawn at the lowest setting and bag the clippings. Rake to remove debris, dead grass, and loosen the soil, ensuring seed-to-soil contact.
2. APPLY: Use a Scotts® Spreader to apply seed at the recommended spreader setting. 3. RAKE: Lightly rake the seed into the soil to ensure seed is covered just beneath the soil surface.

When to Apply

• For best results, apply grass seed in the Spring or Fall when daily average soil temperature are consistently between 55°F and 70°F, or air temperatures are between 60°F and 80°F.
