Description
Scotts® Elite Spreader is advanced, accurate and engineered for a 20% faster application (vs. a standard 5 ft. spread pattern) to be used year-round. This spreader can be used for feed, seed, weed and melt holding up to 20,000 sq. ft.of product. The dual rotors provide exceptional accuracy while the ergonomic handle comes equipped with a smartphone holder. This spreader comes equipped with Scotts® EdgeGuard® technology. To use - Prep by knowing your lawn size before beginning. When filling the spreader, do so over the driveway and cleanup any spilled product. Then, turn the dial to the correct setting by reviewing the correct setting listed on the back of each Scotts® product. Lastly, to apply, begin walking and squeeze trigger. Release at turns and walk briskly making each pass 6ft. from the previous.
HOW TO USE
Turn rate control to correct setting. Spreader width is 6 feet, so allow a few feet in between passes to ensure even distribution. When Edgeguard® is engaged it will block off right side of spreader pattern to prevent product from spreading onto non-lawns areas.

ENVIRONMENT
Do not allow product and/or rinse water to enter storm drain or sewers. If product lands on any hard surface such as driveway, sidewalk, or road, sweep the product back onto the lawn t keep it from being washed into the storm sewers and ultimately surface waters.

Elite Spreader
I bought this Elite spreader last year and have used it several times since then. It’s well built and easy to maneuver. Overall I am happy that Scotts built this product for residential and as well as commercial use. Definitely recommended.

Excellent Spreader
I have only had the opportunity to use the spreader one time on my lawn, but it was extremely easy to put together, set, and begin the spreading process. I found myself having to stop, go back, and go over an area or two here or there where the rotary spreader was jammed up a bit, but overall it was an easy process with a well-functioning machine.

Great Spreader
I bought this a couple of years ago and love the way it handles and the sturdy design. I really like the large hopper. I'm able to put enough product in for my entire yard.I've always had Scott's rotary style spreaders. I have learned I have to adjust the flow. I can't go by the setting on the bag. When it says 3 3/4 I have to set it at more like 4 1/2.The flow seems very low on the recommended settings.

Evenly spreads seeds and saves a lot of time!
I purchased this Elite spreader last spring to spread seed on a newly developed property of mine. I decided on the Elite spreader because it has a lot more room to hold seed. I am very happy about this purchase. It took me less time than I imagined spreading seed on my lawn using this. It is easy to push, my father has arthritic hands and he is able to use this without any issue. I find that this spreader evenly spreads and I use this on hills, flat surfaces, and near wetland. The spreader is easy for me to clean out and store. Overall, I am very impressed with the Scotts Elite Spreader and look forward to using it a lot more this spring.

Great Spreader
I am very happy to have discovered this Elite Spreader by Scott's. Easy to use, and makes seeding my yard oh so much easier. I like how lightweight it is, and how it works fast to get my yard seeded. Good design, that will last for years to come. I would indeed recommend.

Great spreader!
This spreader has significantly reduced how long it takes me to sorsad fertilizer or extra seed. A job that used to take a couple hours can be done in minutes now and given the size of my lawn that it absolea MASSIVE time saver!
