1 Annual Feeding

Feeding once a year starts the growth process by greening and building new roots.

2-3 Annual Feedings

Each feeding builds on the last. The roots grow thicker and stronger and the lawn starts to crowd out weeds.

4 Annual Feedings

With 4 feedings, the root system is deep and strong and the lawn has more resources to survive stresses.

1. Prep

OVERSEEDING: Mow the area shorter than normal, about 5 cm or less. Rake to loosen the top layer of soil and remove any dead grass.

BARE SOIL: Rake to loosen the top 3-5 cm of soil.

2. Apply

For best results use a Scotts® spreader according to label directions. Afterwards, lightly rake the area to ensure the seed contacts the soil.

3. Water

Keep the soil surface moist until the first mowing (2-4 weeks). Seeds germinate best when temperatures are consistently 15°-26°C.

*vs Scotts® Turf Builder® All Purpose Grass Seed when both are applied at the bare soil rate, when used as directed and subject to proper care.
