In 1998, Scotts Miracle-gro expanded to the Canadian market, making it one of North America’s leaders in the lawn and garden category.
We employ over 650 people across Canada. These functions include Manufacturing, Operations, Regulatory Affairs, Sales & Marketing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, and Finance.
Scotts partners with 14 Canadian manufacturers to produce and distribute products under the Scotts, Miracle-Gro, Fafard and Ortho brands.
We operate manufacturing facilities across Canada in Alberta, Ontario, Quebec, and New Brunswick.
Scotts supports community organizations throughout Canada with the Gro for Good Grant Program

Giving Back To The Community

Our corporate headquarters are located in Mississauga, Ontario. Each year, Scotts Canada grows and harvests produce for Food Banks Mississauga. There are 8 elevated garden beds, and an in-ground garden. Since 2018, we have provided over 1000 lbs of produce to the food bank.

From local suppliers who provide key ingredients like compost, bark, peat, and livestock manure, to our dedicated employees in manufacturing facilities across New Brunswick, Quebec, Ontario, and Alberta—every step of the process is deeply connected.

At Scotts Canada, giving back is at the heart of what we do. We proudly support local food banks, community gardens and community organizations across the country to help fight food insecurity and make a meaningful difference.

Scotts Gro for Good

The Gro for Good Grant Program supports community gardens and green spaces across Canada by providing financial assistance and resources that aim to enhance communities at a local level. We know that empowering communities with the knowledge necessary to build these spaces not only encourages healthy eating habits but also brings people of all ages outdoors, interacting with nature all while building a stronger sense of community. Each year, Scotts Canada awards grants to deserving communities, schools and non-profit organizations seeking to develop sustainable gardens in green spaces.
