This product prevents germination of dandelion and large crabgrass seeds in the lawn, but established weeds at the time of the application, will not be controlled. For best results, apply in the early spring and late summer before weeds appear.
One 9.1 kg (20 lb) package of Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed will cover up to 93 m2 (1,000 ft2) of lawn space.

Easy to apply

This Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed is formulated with 100% corn gluten meal, a natural weed seed preventer, to stop dandelions and large crabgrass seeds from germinating.
The corn gluten meal works by absorbing water that weed seeds need to sprout, essentially starving them out. It also contains nitrogen to help your existing grass thrive in areas where weeds might take root. Apply this product in early spring and again in late summer/early fall, after the heat stress of summer has passed.
Scotts® Turf Builder® Weed & Feed is recommended for use twice a year on established lawns to prevent the germination of dandelion and large crabgrass seed.
