Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair is a grass seeding product designed to fill in bare spots and repair lawn damage. It contains premium grass seed, mulch and fertilizer. The mulch absorbs 6X its weight in water, creating a moist and protective layer around the seed during germination, and the slow-release fertilizer aids in jumpstarting the growth of the seedlings by providing essential nutrients over time. The tackifier included in the formula reduces seed washaway, so it can grow even on slopes.
Ingredients
Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair contains the following ingredients:
- Scotts® mixture of high performance grass seed: Creeping Red Fescue, turf-type Perennial Ryegrass and Kentucky Bluegrass.
- Mulch: absorbs up to 6 times its weight in water and expands to surround the seed in a moist protective layer.
- Tackifier: helps to reduce seed wash-away and a protectant to help keep seedlings safe from harmful diseases.
- Fertilizer: a controlled release fertilizer feeds seedlings to jumpstart growth
Using the following measures, apply Scotts® EZ Seed® Patch & Repair to ensure the area is predominantly covered, yet some bare ground remains visible and the seed makes contact with the soil.
